    Anyone want to offer odds on whether this sparks a conflict? I'm at about 3-1 right now that a certain party decides to defend their honor and strikes back. Really, what other choice is there now that this has pushed 1/2 their membership into peace mode? While an ally may have pulled this prank, I think the real value in this is to potential opponents that now know that whose membership won't fight. Time to set the record straight through force or arms or wear this albatross around their neck for some time.

    Yeah, yeah, I'm just trying to stir up some trouble for maximum lulz. As a former Nemesis member, I love those guys and will always have their back.

    And for the record, the SLCB peeps have always seemed like decent enough people. But just like you don't mess with the crazy homeless guy who is screaming at the sidewalk, I wouldn't mess with Nemesis.

    My .02 in this thread is done. Off to try to wind some people up about a fake log dump in another thread.

    Can we get a war over who actually cancelled on who here? That will break up the summertime monotony.

    Oh, and I'd bet the farm that Nemesis turns SLCB into prison !@#$%*es. The kind that you can rent for a pack of cigarettes or maybe a couple cups of top ramen.

    Sorry, but they just don't come any better than Nemesis. SLCB screwed up on this one.

    A couple of things;

    1) This thread has devolved into chaos. For the record, I don't really care what anyone wants to define GOONS or anything else as. I don't really see how most of these posts are germane to this topic. Raid, don't raid. I don't care but don't bite off more than you can chew.

    2) I sent 3 million and 2000 soldiers to this noob. Lets all take a minute and remember that we've all been there before and we've all needed some help along the way. If anyone takes offense at my actions, GO TO HELL. I'll happily resign my AA so as not to cause my alliance any issues but I'll back up this decision with everything I've got, so feel free to declare on me if you feel like making this an issue. Lets remember that this is a game and even noobs deserve the chance to learn. The fact that this guy reached out and asked for help makes him the kind of player I want to see on Planet Bob. He'll add to our community if given a chance, and I'd rather help and be wrong than run him off because he isn't savvy as to the rules of this game.

    3) Can I nominate this noob as Supreme Vice Chancellor, High Regent and the Only Episcopal Caps Lock Ruler of Dark Lords being on Black and possibly Green but definitely not pink or aqua? I think Dark Lords needs new blood already.

    Yeah, 15 to 1 might be a bit too much, I was enjoying a nice dram of whisky when I wrote that. After sleeping on it, my guess is that all parties eventually come to a grudging acceptance of white peace.

    Lets be honest here. NEW canceled on TPF for fighting like !@#$%*^. I fought NEW in this latest war and those guys are the toughest opponents I've ever come up against by a long shot. They weren't about to give an inch and they gave us one hell of a fight. I can understand and respect an alliance canceling on another alliance that didn't fight nearly as hard.

    NEW has my utmost respect. I really hope to fight alongside them than against them next time. I hope they make some better allies in the future.

    Agreed. Or perhaps he returns to restore Pacifica now that their house is in shambles. Of course, Larry Brown has never returned to the same team 2x, but he did flirt with going back to UCLA a couple of times.
