I hope to see soon. link to TAL - The Atlantic League IRC channel- #TAL Thank you, fjl- Minister of Defense 1- Joining bonus from (200k and up) 2- War training (with bonus for the winnier) 3- Mentorship Programs 4- Trade finders (to help you find trades) TAL Charter Article 1: Membership In order to apply for membership in TAL players must sign up on the TAL offsite forums, www.atlanticnations.com The player must then register and apply for membership in the applications thread with the following information posted: - Nation Name - Ruler Name - Team Colour (preferably aqua) - Link to Nation - Username on CyberNations Forum - Previous Alliances - Recruited By Once this has been provided a council member will review his/her application and make a decision whether to approve or decline membership into TAL. When a player signs up he/she agrees to adhere to the charter and follow any rules set by the council. Article 2: Government The Board of Ministers: The actual governing is being done by electable Ministers and deputy's. They together form the Board of Ministers. The Board is the day to day government of The Atlantic League. Besides the Board there is the Triumvirate. Triumvirate: The Triumvirate is the governing body of The Atlantic League and consists of three members. This is a non-electable group of people. They safeguard the Charter and the the function of the different minsteries. If a member of the Triumvirate decides to step down, the remaining two triumvirs will appoint a replacement. Departments: There will a minister for each department and the minister may appoint deputies as he/she sees fit. The departments are as follow: - Foreign Affairs - Internal Affairs - Military - Finance Article 3: Military & War Wars: No members are permitted to engage in any aggressive wars, against any nations without permission from the council. Members who do so will be required to pay reparations and may be expelled from the alliance If a member of TAL is attacked by an aligned nation their alliance will be contacted and the council will try to resolve the problem diplomatically. If an unaligned nation attacks an TAL member, they will be given one chance to declare peace and pay reparations. Failure to do so will result them in being attacked. Nuclear Weapons: Members of TAL are encouraged to purchase nuclear weapons and may be aided with the intent of them doing so. Members have the right to launch nuclear first strikes when dealing with rogues only if the rogue is unaligned or has been expelled from his/her alliance. No member may use a nuclear weapon against any other player without approval from the council and approval will only be given under special circumstances. Article 4: Amendments Any member of TAL may propose an amendment to the council. The council will review and discuss the amendment before it is moved to a vote. Majority vote from the council itself is required prior to public vote. -------------------- The Atlantic League
