  1. Using the evidence that the people looking in at this you can understand the reasons why people are unclear if ODN has changed or not, or if they have changed more than just being able to keep their treaties on the side of the war the will end up winning, as is there is no reason to ditch an ally if your not going to lose the war.

That being said I have great beleif that when the time comes where ODN will need to back an ally who may not win a war, and will in all likleyhood end up losing the ODN will still stand with said ally rather than returning to past mistakes. Mostly this oppinion comes from the fact that they themselves as has been stated before, where the most crtical of their past actions. Noone is going to see their own mistakes with such clarity to then decide that it is time to go back and repeat them.

And while we are on the subject congratulations to Umberella, I am postive ODN will be as great an ally to you as they are to us.

There there, calm down now. Even if I comment on the odd announcement I disapprove of, I don't make it my mission to then follow each subsequent announcement by that alliance, although exceptions can be made if you wish? Anyone who has treatied the SOS brigade is a fool to one degree or another and clearly does not completely understand the structure and state of the alliance itself. Of course I only want the best for FOK and don't believe they should treaty fools.

Your logic is pretty flawed there, if we are fools for treating SOS Brigade, because their "stench" as you put it is upon us then anyone treatied to us are also tainted by our foolishness and therefore fools themselves because everyone should be judged upon one treaty partner only and not anything else.

I have nothing against FOK and respect them greatly...but the stench of the SOS that clings to you is what I'm not a massive fan of in all honesty. Your alliance may be a great group of guys, your choice of allies in SOS however...

But you're right, you can't please everyone, but I know that I'm not the only one who feels this way (I just like making it obvious for everyone).

So just to clarify, the fact we are allied to SOS Brigade measn that your going to be gracing all of our annoucments with your presence saying how much you hate us because we like someone you hate? Is it just us that gets this treatment or will it extend to anyone who is allied to SOS Brigade?

  4. Hey, remember that alliance that got war declared on it by people, and then one of their allies went OMG we don't wanna die lets make up some e-lawering thing and ditch them by saying the voided the treaty so we don't even have that annoying cancellation clause to work around? And remember the outrage and anger shown?

[ooc]Your lack of understanding about the history of your own country is kind of disturbing[/ooc] but congratulations on the DoE and the best of luck to you in the future, Irish themed alliances should always be greated with joy and much partying.

  6. Mr. Palpatine...I was under the impression that you were part of Outer Heaven, in fact I remember seeing your application to join our ranks....in fact I think it's still on record. Why the sudden change of mind? That goes for a lot of you *raises eyebrow*

Show loyalty to your alliance before you see the threat of war, not after. Once the possible thought of us being attacked, a lot of members stayed put in GATO. Can't say I respect that too much. I do however have the utmost respect to the members who were receiving the recruitment messages by <censored for whatever...you can tell who it is if you look at wars and what not :P > and told him no and stayed put in GATO without flip flopping allegiances. That's loyalty, sticking with your alliance even when things look grim and when there's room for improvement. Now I understand that the "wisdom" that's coming from me is hilarious based on my previous alliance-hopping record.

Anyway, that's my rant for the day. :P Good luck to us and may we live long and prosper!

It could be the threat of war that made most of these guys stay in GATO, but I am more inclined to think that it had something more to do with the way things where done that left a bit of a sour taste in these peoples mouths especially since they haven't moved over to OH now that the threat of war is gone and it is clear that not everyone knew to what extent such recruitment messages where being sent.
