    I can't speak about the other alliances, but as for IRON, the four combatants I faced only strengthened my positive opinion of them. I'd be happy if they payed minimal reps if at all. Sure getting nuked 5 times wasn't fun, but it was certainly worth the 10 I successfully landed. (maybe IRON should be asking reps of their SDI operators?)

    Having only lasted 6 months of Blackwater (not due to the quality of its members, I’m just a little too rebellious at heart!), I must offer OG my condolences.

    Give ‘em hell ye men in black!

    PS Metal, Hamaden, Although I do think the hourly PMs, personal calls in the middle of the night, and the death threats on my family were a bit excessive, I must thank you guys for drilling me over and over and over about war-chest. It sure is nice now ;).

    Burn1Love coming back, logging into the NEAT boards, and posting here; to me, this is winning the game. A life has been reborn as far as I'm concerned, to quote our favorite author, "What was lost is now found!" This is far better than any war-chest I could accumulate or wonder I could buy.

    PS Now it would be a great coup if Morath (aka Autoerotica) came back too.

    Experimentum, with all due respect, I don't think you could be more off base with B1L's influence in our alliance [you just come across sounding petty]. Voting was without exception always done with every member having equal vote. Anyone could vote, and forgive the slap here, but we got more done in this manner than you guys did following the queen. [The "vote for a vote" comment is kinda childish. I mean, really?]

    Unlike yourself, I've been "under the Rose" and in NEAT. Sure I didn't have full access to the inner sanctum as a knight did, but I was able to see enough of the workings while in Blackwater to know it was a retirement home more than an alliance; thats why I left, you guys are a great group, but you just never risked anything.

    You are however damn straight that raiding a raider is no different than flat out techraiding. What can I say? I was 0 days old when I joined NEAT. It was rather hypocritical and self-righteous, but no more than talking of honor and typing in old English. Hopefully we'll both live and learn.

    When it comes down to it, we're just a bunch of friends (B1L included) who enjoy counting and reading CHeezy's drunken posts. Sure we could do that in peace mode, but as I think B1L has enumerated multiple times, we'd like to see peace in Digiterra/Bob and don't really care if its achieved by Bilrow or Walford. Our aim is just to assit in that manner however possible.

    You're completely right. We've moved on from the issue and as long as the new alliance holds no ill will towards us and any rerolls don't carry over grudges from past IC characters, I'm perfectly fine with it. We've always considered the IC/OOC boundary precious and as long as the rerolls adhere to this boundary, as I stated earlier, I have no problem with an alliance similar to that of NEAT reforming. Each new IC character is a blank slate and someone different, assuming of course they can separate past "lives".

    BigZ, I actually included in this group old-NEATers who wish to return in addition to new members and re-rolls. Those who return are returning under the condition that they have "moved on". Do you have issue with this? I don't seem to recall anything in our peace terms which forbade this.

    (Please no-one give me "private channels for the win" ;) )

    As long as they're willing to keep past grudges limited to past IC characters in each reroll, I see no problem with them doing whatever they want with their new personas. Granted, I'm not particularly confident in the abilities of many players to separate IC from OOC but nonetheless, the opportunity to do so will be afforded to them, like all others. If they do choose to enact old grudge in new characters then, obviously, consequences will ensue but ultimately it's their choice on whether or not to accept this clean slate.

    Seriously, guys. You're talking about restarting NEAT in a public forum with a timeline based on MP development. GOD didn't just disappear.

    I want to believe the GOD and NEAT have moved on, BigZ call me on this if I'm wrong here.

    Why should we hide ourselves or our plans? Isn't this what got everyone all up in arms in the first place? "Oooohhhh secret Walford organization!!!"

    Yes we would like to restart NEAT and yes a few of us consider the Gramlins a nice model alliance (hence the idea behind nukes), and no we're still not a none splinter cell and no, Walford hasn't re-rolled and taken his place among us. And yes I know, direct democracy is pure fail. You are all welcome to spy on us, go ahead register at the forums (except for you FAN, the one thing we DO NOT want is become the next source of "Bad JuJu", no hate for you guys, but that whole thing was just poor).

    Hard to argue with your logic Quercus. After buying my 10th wonder, its doubtful that my country would be were it was today without the assistance of BW and some of the knights of OBR. Still seeing my casualy count just south of my wonder list on my nation info screen makes it a little bittersweet.

    Sadly this is just one of those situations where one can probably never really get to a sense of 100% satisfaction. Face it, life isn't fair, nor is it intended to be. I think all parties involved have said their peice and in my humble opinion I think we should let this one lay...

    Good to see the same old false sense of oppression and moral high ground is still running strong. Is it at all possible for you guys to step back for two seconds and realize where you went wrong?
