Do you not feel that the governance of an alliance would full under the same Biblical principles of church governance, those being decidedly undemocratic?

The CCC is a political structure, not a church. Indeed, the rulers of each nation in the CCC have their own churches under which they submit themselves.

Anyhow, the Bible does not actually elevate any political system above the rest--democracy is just as (in)valid as autocracy.

  2. Just a passing observation.

    GOONS: 49
    Mushroom Kingdom: 84
    Umbrella: 4

Shouldn't all of Doomhouse come out of PM if they want to issue demands that all of NPO come out of PM?

I mean, I understand Umbrella doesn't like to sit on its hands all day, but is Doomhouse is unsure of whether they can actually win this war exclusively in the low tier?

Doomhouse could easily have waited until after the NpO front was complete, at which time many of NPO's allies would have been battered to hell anyway, and then hit NPO on whatever CB and had the support of many of those alliances currently tied up against NpO & friends or rebuilding from that affair. It would have been an absolute curbstomp. As such, your point has no substance. That said, the above is precisely the reason why so many people were sure that the NPO would enter this war if the correct circumstances arose; it would have been suicidal in the long run for them to have stayed out. Whereas they would have had a small chance of winning if they entered at the right time, or at least of fighting the war to a scorched-earth stalemate, they would have had absolutely no chance if they stayed out and allowed so many on their side of the web to be effectively obliterated.

The best available argument people seem to have against the claims that the NPO would have entered is "The NPO says they weren't planning on entering." Do you truly expect us to simply take at complete face value whatever the NPO says? The memories many have of the NPO are not nearly so short.

I doubt that most of the alliances currently fighting NpO would be comfortable (or capable of) supporting Doomhouse in a totally blatant attack on NPO after concluding a global war.

And yeah, I doubt the NPO would have sat this war out. Still, it does not justify Doomhouse's actions (from neither a moral nor a pragmatic standpoint).

Where did I complain about how evil the NPO was in my post that you chose to quote?

Viceroys and disbandment are generally considered to be the worst terms that you can give to an alliance. The NPO has done those things in their history. Saying that is not trying to spin something one way or another, it's fact. The members of DoomHouse have never done those things.

    Yet.

  5. Does Anarchy itself penalize tax collection beyond not allowing you to select another government? Or is it only the nuclear anarchy that decreases tax collection?

EDIT: Further question: By what figure does nuclear anarchy decrease happiness and income?

Really? Who told you that? We're far more interested in watching NpO crumble. Speaking of which, congrats to NpO for reaching the 50% mark of your pre-war NS.

You could always pull an NpO move and declare war on NpO and MK. They would be totally different theaters of war. All you need to do is cancel a treaty or two. xD

  7. Wow. Do I really need to explain a facetious remark?

PB declares war on NpO. A rash of declarations occur.

NPO and their allies stay out of war. Doomhouse, seeing that NPO looks like they may or may not support their allies in wars against PB, decide to pre-emptively strike them.

Doom House is now at war with ML. The rest of Duckroll stay out of war. Doom House sees that Duckroll looks like they may or may not support their ally in the war against Doom House. Shouldn't they pre-emptively strike them? After all, it's virtually the same circumstances as NPO. MK even defeated both NPO and Duckroll in the last two major conflicts! xD

(I know that they probably won't, since TOP is their ally. And a very bitter ally at that due to their loss in that last war, which, ironically, they lost because they did the exact same thing as Doom House did this war.)

  8.
Molon Labe's government has both participated in these attacks and made clear in negotiations that they do not consider these to be rogue attacks any more than we consider our own members who are defending GOONS to be rogues.
Well, you guys already disqualified the need for a casus belli. Who needs a declaration of war? -_-

And I noticed that Umbrella nations attacked us; the last time I checked, the CCC was not at war with Umbrella. Heck, I don't even know why the Mushroom Kingdom declared on us. Aside from a crusade of bad taste, MK and FOK have no treaties, nor does the CCC and NPO. I mean, seriously, WE WERE ON YOUR SIDE IN KARMA AND TOP-C&G.
