My point is to address the fact that I oppose blackmail, oppose threatening sovereign alliances, and oppose stealing alliance names.
If I am gaining fame, that's because there are far fewer people who are willing to do something about what they oppose, and far more people willing to just sit back and insult people from within the safety of their alliance.

I just saw a "3 month topic" for a guild. I also notice that a lot of new guilds are declaring their existence. Would it be possible to compile similar statistics except for whole guilds instead of singular nations? I bet the percentage of guilds that delete is just as bad as the figure for nations within 6 months.
no, the way i got these statistics couldnt be measured in the same way for alliances as they can be for players

This would be my "effective resignation", if I were an alliance hopper. However, tLC, love you guys. I will not be resigning from anything.
The AUT asked not to participate in this particular conflict due to having a personal friendship with Sileath, and thus has chosen not to enact his optional offense clause. He is still a respected member of the Dynomite Pact. We still wub him. The Dynomite still continues to blow through it's enemies.
For the time being, since Sileath does not currently have any defensive warslots, this will be considered a DoS to BTA. As soon as slots are open, Sileath will be attacked further. When Sileath's current wars expire, BTA and Dynomite will do their thang'.

The issue I see with this is that the aidflow would have to be monitored, and who is to keep NPO nations from sort of...cheating?
like the big NPO nations do tech deals outside of NPO, and the small NPO nations do tech deals outside of the NPO, or to send simple aid they use middle men.
There needs to be a set price they must pay, though i do like the idea of not destroying their means of income, only taxing it heavily.

I'm a brand new nation, one of the annual June "i'm out of school and bored" rush and I'm interested in what everyone is willing to do to keep me in.
Seriously though, being new and looking through these forums, some better community standards on forum etiquette would go a long way to keeping players from getting turned off early by some of the meanspiritedness. Anyway, it would be interesting (especially for me) to see suggestions people have about keeping new nations around longer.The forum has low standards both in terms of respect for others, and intelligence of posting.
I actually began collecting these statistics because I was interested in how futile recruiting attempts are, and how successful we as a community are in keeping around new players, the answer is not very successful.

This is data I collected last night and this morning. I won't disclose how I did it, though some of you will likely figure it out, but it is accurate as far as I know. I have the raw data collected on excel, but I will not be releasing that, though I will give you specific data you want if you PM me or query me over IRC (name is PeteM).
Notes:
1. For the graphs involving how many people are left, and percents left, those are only accurate on the day they are collected, but I think that a general trend can be seen in them that is interesting.
2. Be careful to note the difference between PERCENT of nations and NUMBER of nations
3. I have data of how many nations were CREATED and how many are in existence for those time intervals shown.
-Those intervals are the past 90 days in blocks of ten, and every month cyber nations has been in existence.
4. I might update this sometimes, those of you who are good with CN history can comment on these things.
5. Nations that were created on June 20, who never logged in again, would only be deleted today, so interpret the data intelligently.
6. Tell me if you see any mistakes in this post/the graphs
TEN DAY INTERVALS(april 1-June29):

55% of Nations will be deleted between 20 and 30 days of their existence
94% of nations will be deleted within 6 months of their existence

first you must change your AA to a desired name
then go to this site, find a charter you like, and put your name in there and change a few words

then announce it on the alliance announcements section
then you try to recruit people, and the few people who join you will have no idea what to do with. im excluding the chance you will get a bigger alliance to help you since there is no chance they will if you dont know how to make an alliance. then quit cybernations in three weeks and tell them how bad it is.
