  1. I thought that nations got deleted on day 21, not day 20 of inactivity. I thought I still had time. Tell me, are nations deleted on day 20 or 21, because I've seen nations before with "21 Days Inactive" before...

  2. There can be more than one meaning/usage of a word. I'm almost certain he was using it purely in the context of "asshatery", which is very understandable. There are very few times when you should take curses as their literal meanings because in most cases, the original meanings don't even apply.

OPer, I have to say that is one sexy tl;dr.

This. But I'd recommend to the OP that he/she put a "(in a non-anti-homosexual way)" after words like "!@#$%^ry". I understood your meaning, but others may take it the wrong way.

At any rate, an honorable announcement. I experienced it once in the GMDG, and I can tell you that it was sort of frustrating. ;)

  3. ...okay, IAA just announced their reaffirmation of their sig on GPA's DoN. An honorable move, IMO. But they also, in essence, voiced their support for the GPA. I like that too. This is getting more interesting as it goes. However, this is a DoN we're speaking of. This isn't an MDP. However, there is a clear division here. Not an explicitly hostile one, but nonetheless, one between those who feel GPA =/= Neutral anymore and those who think it still applies. My question is this: If there are two sides to an issue over a DoN, then is it really a DoN anymore? I mean, having sides concerning a DoN sort of defeats the purpose, does it not?

Just something I noticed. No, I'm not quite going "OMG WARZ" yet (all the parties are generally docile here as far as has been expressed), but might I say that just thinking about a conflict over a DoN is epic lulz.

Bah, I need to get out more. I'm obviously bored. But if the above applies, then does this mean that DoNs and NAPs will become the new MDPs in the near future? Kinda like it's been thrown around that MDPs are the new MADPs?

    That is all.

  4. *BamaBuc signs up for Methusela College of Phonics. :awesome:

Seriously, I agree. I wasn't around during YN5, but this seems like a better-executed version of it, and I like it. :D

    EDIT:

    *BamaBuc facepalms repeatedly.

For the love of admin, QUIT PRETENDING \m/ WAS A SIGNIFICANT PART OF TECHRAIDING!!! They were well-known for it, but they only raided alliances under 5 members, and many alliances even on the other side of the war raided 10-member alliances or even more.

I was merely remembering \m/'s DPIOS Act.

  5. It hasnt stopped GPA booting members for similar reasons in the past in the absence of any GPA laws explicitly forbidding GPA members sending such aid; they just seem to be making an exception with Error404 for some reason....

You know, the culprit reminds me of a certain someone...

  6. I smell a war brewing. Yeah, I'm still one of the "OMG, WARZ" people, big whoop, wanna fight about it?

Listen, this is not a matter that should be taken lightly. This is the problem with neutrality: You have no allies when it falls though. GPA, I think, could hold its own against, perhaps...two world powers, provided they have the knowledge of battle that is essential to winning a war. However, IRON's got more allies than that, not to mention that this concerns aid to the common enemy of 17 alliances (or was it 18? I'm not sure). I hope the GPA at least imparts some knowledge upon its members on the ways of war. Otherwise, this would be a massacre. :(

  7. The Orders will keep dominating for a long time, but, despite their sisterhood, I think their individual goals are much different. Thus, I believe that there will be a conflict between those two at some point (I always did), but it would definitely take some serious mistakes or some serious manipulation, first or third party.

Nothing's impossible. Even the GPA could get into a scuffle. All it takes is another OOC Incedent, since that's what starts, and in the most recent case, ends, all wars.

NoV and the Hanseatic League will continue their campaign against the far left, long into the future. However, nationalist alliances have a great risk of neo-nazi insurgents. If these insurgents penetrate any of HL, then misunderstandings will arise that will be the death of them, or it and its alliances will split and disband on their own.

On the former UJP: GOONS will disband, or will be significantly weakened, in a similar fashion to the NAAC during and after the Second Arctic War. TPF will gain a sanction, likely replacing the GGA, unless some strides in faster growth are taken on the latter's part. MK will always be similar to LUE, on the opposing side of the Orders, but it will be executed better than it had been before, with much more caution. GS will persist for a time, but a recuperated FAN will always see them as a traitor alliance, which will produce difficulties.

The CDT, unless some reevaluations are made, will eventually find itself in a civil war, since treaty obligations have a risk of placing them on opposite sides of the field of battle.

ORRPLE will always persist, and The Legion and ODN will eventually pull themselves up to the Order's level once again. The Legion, like ODN, will establish an effective and strong relationship with Polaris, but will always be wary of Pacifica and Valhalla.

Valhalla will find a new purpose other than hunting The Legion, which will eventually become untouchable. This purpose is, as of now, unclear.

FAN will recuperate stronger than before, and will one day be considered the most dangerous alliance in the cyberverse. Though it is under new management, it will retain its aggressiveness. But it will not be carried out carelessly. It will likely take to independence in a similar fashion to IRON before VietFAN.

The NADC will take strides to form a new GUARD. However, if unsuccessful, they will join the GPA in strict neutrality.

BLEU will be the dominant hegemony for a time, but it will be a much less hated one than the WUT or UJP were.

Color blocs will be the new era on CN. As for now and far into the future, Blue will retain its dominance.

  8. Actually if you knew what you were talking about, you would know that the day the war broke out We were asked by GOONS to go to Peace Mode and save up for a 2nd wave. So for 5 days we couldnt fight anyone. when we were finally due to come out of Peacemode, we fought one of the only targets we could and still honor all of our treaties. Isnt that what any honorable alliance would do? or would an honorable alliance attack someone who would break or turn one of their own treatied allies against them?

When we entered peacemode legion was not in the war, we had no idea they were entering the war.

As for losing, what exactly did we lose? Again if you paid attention you would have seen that Legion was only able to anarchy 2 of our top 40 nations, whilst we managed to anarchy 19 of theirs. would have been more but many of them were still in peacemode.

now, can we get this thread back on target before someone else chimes in with more stories in which they have no idea what they are talking about?

So you say. I was not aware of that order, and admit ignorance. But if this is true, then what target were you focused upon beforehand?

As to winning and losing, I suppose you didn't quite lose, but then you surrendered. Understandable though. Everyone else was... *Shrug*

  9. haha.. you clearly don't know what went on at all. I don't know what's been said to Legion membership but the fact is it was all a prank.

As for the MDP suddenly becoming an MDoAP I think 'honour when advantageous' comes to mind.

I think the point is with regards to the \m/ prank made by a low level member is that once again your government isn't telling you the whole truth.

I don't know what's been said to Valhallans, but the idea is that you're supposed to quite pranks when they seem like they'll get dangerous. The fact that WC actually had to go to Legion IRC and go "You're not allied with Polaris...right?" rings of "!@#$, we're in the dog house now..."

As for when you enter a war on the side of your allies to attack a specific target even though the likes of ODN, IRON, and GGA are already attacking your MADP partners (i.e. GOONS), I think that "honour when grudges are involved" comes to mind.

I think that the fact that you still haven't gotten over the fact that you entered a war and lost shows that prejudice and grudges run high in Valhalla. Seriously, if you read about my most recent predicament involving former GMDG comrades, you'd take it from me when I say that those never quite work out in the end.
