  1. Maybe you should make a bigger list of non sequiturs.

Your coalition has literally edited its Declaration of War in an attempt to mask a monumental mistake. You're not exactly in a position to talk about accountability here. Maybe it's time to keep your exaggerations at a more moderate level. This backwards logic regarding acknowledging enemy doctrines that you're trying to push goes both ways.
  2. EQ posted a clear doctrine at the beginning of this war to make things perfectly clear for everyone.  ~Competence~ has rejected that doctrine and refuses to recognize it.  That is your decision to make.  But you cannot turn around and then act on it when it suits you, and argue about it when it does not.  That is exactly the sort of cutesy poopoo whose accumulation over the past few years made it so easy to kick off this war.

Maybe you and your friends should tell us more about undoing declarations of war via edit buttons. lkfSwQl.gif

  3. as far as I can tell this was just the treaty web bringing us in (and a few other reasons, I am generalizing with little knowledge :P)

so according to the wiki the main cause for this massive war was umbrella slot filling puppets? there has to be a deeper reason then that. I mean if that is the reason, that is a lot of people upset about one nation...

    CN101:

Alliance leaders spend most of their time diplomatizing on IRC and/or forums and trying to make people join their cause or consolidate their power sphere. Methods range from cybersex to mentioning that you like the same baseball team so there's no real depth here either(once in a while, alliances join forces because of similar views on the game but that isn't really the norm). Disliking the same alliance is usually enough for a defensive treaty. When the cards are looking good, coalitions enter a wait phase of sorts where they essentially keep their fingers crossed and wait for the enemy to fuck up. This usually happens and conflicts that are normally handled via diplomacy result in a global war. I guess the last thing worth mentioning is that no one actually cares about the CB and that the real motivation behind every CN war is to either keep your enemy down or change the "World Order". All of this can be traced back to boredom so the guy above is pretty spot on.
  4. I know for sure alliances such as my own will bounce back to the top because we know how to really rebuild (see karma, bipolar). Can the same be said of your side?

No, it can't, thankfully. We don't build infra heavy nations that melt like butter whenever they're declared on.

Not really, their side has more big nations because CN is a extremely complex game that requires much effort, free time and years of research to discover the best way to build infra and import tech, you have only yourself to blame if you chose the wrong alliance who lack geniuses with Phd's on nation building. Shame on you sir!

I know right? An online table and you still can't get it right.

    makes u think

  5. You're getting rolled, probably the best we could have hoped for.

The damage you're doing is of little consequence in the long run. You, on the other hand, have sacrificed any chance of ever having a competitive top tier again. Doesn't sound like something to hope for to me but to each his own.
  6. You and DH would probably find this comical right now, but with time they will change their tune.
But I would simply use your real alliance as leverage against you, which could be done in multiple ways.

Given how you're even entertaining yourself with the idea of doing that, I believe firm stances need to be taken when we cross that bridge.

It's comical because your coalition can't even roll us properly but clowns like you are still trying to act tough for some reason.

  7.  I am equally amused that after calling for heads of our allies for a while now you're trying to spin this into a defensive war.

You're way beyond the limits of logic with this one, sorry. You (well, AI) started this war and it has nothing to do with whose destruction we wanted at one point or another (and yes, a considerable number of MKers do want your side to be beaten into the ground). Try again.

  8. Oh don't get me wrong, I recognize the MK war machine as the harbinger to our destruction. Once that second MK nation comes out of peacemode, I fear for all our low tech high tier nations, for on that day, there will be much wailing and gnashing of teeth.

Or heaven forbid, a third MK nations engages us, that strike will surely be the catalyst for our surrender.

    don't tell him
