    I'm saddened to see Valhalla on the other side of the battlefield.

    Could someone explain how the Legion was being deceitful and underhanded during the surrender period?

    They were trying to quickly get us to sign a new NAP to keep us out of the way, while at the same time planning to strike our MADP partner.

    A nation running around falsely flying an alliance banner is still, under legal rights, able to be declared on by that same alliance.

    In this case, Piro can still be attacked by the CSE if he faslely flies the CSE flag.

    Piro at this time is still very much Valhalla Applicant and therefore afforded the protection of Valhalla. As such an attacks by CSE will be seen as an attack upon Valhalla herself, a direct break of the NAP we hold between our alliances.

    Well.. Its certainly been an interesting few days has it not?

    Valhalla has been built with Honour as one of the foundation stones, and our DoW is full of honour.. Honouring every signle one of our treaties in a manner that does not conflict with other treaties held by those nation alliances. Unfortunatley this has once again rbought us to war with Legion, and as unfortunate as this may be, lets keep the fight honourable.

    Anyone knowing me will know that during the so called "Dove" war i was more than happy to flame an alliance many times over that had wronged us and then hid from the battle. However you will not find me doing this in this battle. This battle was not started by an action by either alliance on the other, but by alliances honouring treaties (Finally.. in the case of Legion). It is most unfortunate that again two of the bigger purple alliances are at war with each other but we can only hope for a quick and peace resolution to the conflict we both find ourselves in (which.. is going to need some luck.. theres alot of alliances to find peace)

    To Legion: When I am to enter this conflict, i look forward to a good, honourable battle that was started not by hatred or imoral actions against us, but by the treaties we both signed.

    To our treaty partners flaming us: Seeing you flame us for joining this war due to our treaties is dis-hearteneing.. especially from the NPO, you have been like brothers to us since the very day we were born and I believe that the huge amount of aid we managed to sendyou, for such a small alliance at the time, is testemant to the commitment we have with our relations with you. I hope that those flaming us for our choices to uphold our treaties, despite the side we have ended up on in this conflict, will see the error if their flames and the honour we are upholding.

    To our treaty partners not flaming us: I hope that after the conflict we can continue to grow our relations and make them blossom to their fullest potential. Valhalla has always enjoyed good relationships with our treaty partners and we hope that to continue for a long time.

    If i was a spy i would have been ZIed back then. I didn't have to do this but i figured the legion should know that some where nW is laughing at them because he took them down for this same type of crap. Could my wife have viewed those threads, i guess, but i bet a lot of other folks could have also. i think she also had a thread at the time on the legion boards trying to build support for a push to change back to the old rules.
