Responding to the OP.
There was no OOC attack, I'm pretty sure that was made up. (I could be wrong)
It was a dick move to declare hoo and kait ghosts.
It was a slightly less dick move for kait to take down the forums.
Moral of the story, RoK is dead, at least for now. -

I'm quite shocked at how well the reactions are from SF alliance members, minus the usual people like Xiph and whoever that other guy is not making any sense. Glad this looks like it wont turn out into another grudge-fest. -

Probably the only sentence I read in the OP, but I would disagree about people reaching out in order to balance against XX. It doesn't take much to fight a half-ghost bloc...
And to comment on the post above, I don't think NPO will be a powerhouse anytime soon. They will most likely never recover to their fullest potential and those who are allied to them have had a bad habit of being destroyed, whether it was their fault or not, similar to NpO's friends. -
People can be dicks. I'm Catholic and people still find ways to insult my religion every day... Not much I can say besides what Omni said on the first page, "grow thicker skin", because there's plenty of insulting people around here in every alliance.

Recall The Immortals. Pretty much the alliance that is Legacy today combined with I don't know who else. The Immortals were a Black team alliance. They were a part of Noir (when it actually mattered), and held treaties with various Black team alliances. Back then, an ODP really meant something to everyone, not just everyone but CSN. One of those ODP's was with DT. Once The Immortals moved to Maroon, and formed Legacy, the treaty was dropped. However the friendships were still there.
When you're pitted against two friends, who do you choose? The one who is attacking you to defend their ally, or the one that is ignoring your opinion in the war and keeping you in it only for their gain. I think the choice is pretty clear.

I somehow missed this.
I got banned from the CN wiki by Locke, who's in GOD, because he's the watchdog for anything in the slightest that is bad for SF. The CN wiki is probably the most bias tool you could use to gather information. It's only good as a quick reference source, not a bible.
