I need to apologize to the Cyber Nations community. I recently looked back at my posts from years ago, and I am sick at how awful many of my posts were. Many of my posts were bigoted, and for that, I am sorry. Many more indicate a general lack of empathy for others, and for that, I am also sorry. Common themes of a lot of my behavior here was unnecessary aggression in the service of "winning" arguments and ignoring the larger and more important context surrounding issues and words so I could make some tangential point. Not only was this behavior rude and hurtful, but it also normalized and provided cover for other people to be nasty and express bigotry.

I think I have improved a lot in terms of being kinder and advocating for a more just society, and I hope to continue to grow and make up for my poor behavior. I really appreciate the time I spent on planet bob and the friends I made here, and I am sorry I was not a more constructive and kind participant. I have and will try to do better.
