The future of the Empire relies directly on the loyalty and soundness of conscience of the ordinary people that constitute it's whole. If we are to steer the upward course of our Imperial Commonwealth's history we must lean on those loyal members that we aim to attract from amongst you, the readers. The Empire must become at once our sword and shield; a bastion of humanity that promotes the best our nation's have to contribute whilst overcoming our shortfalls. For my part, I declare that I will freely give my devotion to this British Empire continually asking that immortal and immeasurably broad question of my government; how is the Empire?

Further, while we have recognised that a free and monarchical constitution was necessary to meet the expectation of the enlightened wider world. In a word, we have sought the principles of the constitutional charter in the free character and in the enduring examples of past ages. Thus, we have seen, in the renewal of the government, an institution truly national and one which must bind all the recollections with all the hopes, in bringing together former and present times. Assured of our intentions, and strengthened by our conscience, we pledge ourselves, in the presence of the Empire which hears us, to be faithful to this constitutional charter, reserving to ourselves to swear to maintain it with a new solemnity, before you all. The Ori Empire Forum "Life and death, light and darkness, hope and despair. The rift was created, and on that day, the Ori were born. Do not be ignorant and shun the plain truth before you; embrace the Ori and join their Holy Empire. Fear not, the Ori do not require blind obedience. The Empire has need of true followers of the Ori's divine will. The Empire offers opportunities to become Administrators over groups of nations, supervising their rulers; or to become Commanders in charge of a portion of the Ori's holy army. For those of you willing to tread the path of Origin more fully there is the opportunity to become a Prior of the Ori, spreading the word of Origin out amongst the stars and taking command of groups of Commanders in times of war. Of course, simply joining the Empire is entering the service of the Ori and you will be provided for. "Egidius of Valdair needed to speak things that could only be spoken in the light of the fire."
