This blog post will contain all unnecessary information which is almost written in English with lots of grammatical mistake. We are NEW, NEW don't speak and write in English, we do speak and write in Indonesian Language. So don't expect us to be so wonderfully good in our English.
    The First, The NEW Beginning

You are probably surprised that Nusantara Elite Warriors finally has the English Language public magazine for all age. And I hope you don’t criticize us on the English we use, because I think you should have already known that we are all-Indonesian alliance. Thank you for all the support given to the effort I made to create this magazine until the stage of publishing. This is not a perfect one, but it can represent the Nusantara Elite Warriors Alliance and Planet Bob.
The contains will be general, inside and out the Nusantara Elite Warriors Alliance, including all the foreign affair stuffs which I hope to get support from other alliance to share their stories by sending Private Message in-game or NEW Forum. I hope as the first edition, this magazine will flourish your heart a good impression about NEW.

Why don’t cats like to swim?

MANY PEOPLE THINK that cats are afraid of water. They’re not. Occasionally, one can see a cat pounce spontaneously into the water. Nature documentary fans can attest to the fact that many of the cats’ larger relatives, such as tigers and jaguars, love to swim.
So why isn’t your cat likely to stick a paw into the pool? For the same reasons it always drives you nuts: it has a cleanliness fetish, and it’s lazy. Your cat refuses to have a good time. It won’t get wet because it figures it isn’t worth the effort needed to dry and clean itself with its tongue to enjoy something as superficial as marine frolic. Unless you starve it and stock your pool with fish, your cat is likely to remain landlocked.

    Can regular corn be popped?

THERE ARE FIVE DIFFERENT types of corn. Popcorn is the only variety that will pop consistently. According to Greg Hoffman of American Popcorn, other corn might pop on occasion but with little regularity. The key to popcorn’s ability is, amazingly, water. Each popcorn kernel contains wa-ter, which most popcorn processors try to maintain at about 13.5 percent.
The water is stored in a small circle of soft starch in each kernel. Surrounding the soft starch is a hard enamel-like starch. When the kernel is heated or popping, the water inside heats and begins to ex-pand. The function of the hard starch is to resist the water as long as possible.
When the water expands with such pres-sure that the hard starch gives way, the water bursts out, causing the kernel to explode. The soft starch pops out, and the kernel turns inside out. The water, converted into steam, is released, and the corn pops.
The other four varieties of corn are able to store water effectively. But their outer starch isn’t hard enough to withstand the water pressure of the expanding kernel, so nothing happens.

    Guerrilla Gardening in City Streets

JAPANESE GREEN-THUMBS with a hankering for a spot of gardening but no gardens of their own have resorted to what’s been dubbed “guerrilla gardening.” In Tokyo’s heaving metropolis, little gardens have sprouted in the most unusual places – on median strips, traffic islands and footpaths.
Japan is not the only place. There are al-most 100 community gardens in Los An-geles. A group called “farm-lab” has even build an enormous cornfield next to rail-way tracks in the CBD (Central Business District)

    Are referees really color blind?

THE COLORS WORN by competitors can shape referee decisions. So say Norbert Hagemann and colleagues at the University of Munster, Germany, who showed 42 taekwondo referees excerpts from sparring rounds between similarly skilled athletes. In each video, one athlete wore blue protective gear while the other wore red. The researchers found that referees gave 13 percent more points to red competitors, even when the performances were exactly the same. Bet the blue competitors were seeing red, too.

Where is the world’s longest marathon?

WHAT’S THE ONLY MARATHON where most of the racers run in costume? Where the route offers stunning views of chateaus and sprinkled with wine-tasting tests and gourmet stands serving such tempting morsels as steak and seafood? And where the winners receive their weight in fine wine? That would be the Marathon du Medoc in Bordeaux, France.
Participants lucky enough to take part in this year’s race passed more than 50 cha-teaus. “At one chateau,” says Daniel Gauvreau, who’s run it, “women dressed in period costumes served us oysters and white wine.”
However, the more pit stops a runner makes, the longer it takes to get back on the course. No wonder the annual event is known to its fans as the world’s longest marathon.

    Interviewed by: Marginali
Marginali: What do you think about the future of NEW and Planet Bob?
Cyrus: Well, it depends on our own policy, we are good at building the nation and the whole alliance, but lack of diplomacy will be the major obstacle for NEW to face the drama in Planet Bob. In short, fix the diplo (Diplomacy) things, we will gain more respect.
M: What do you think about NEW raiding policy? I always see people repeating the same mistake again and again, What you want to do about that?
C: no matter strict the policy is, human error is unavoidable
M: So nothing we can do?
C: (for) Now, 5 members’ alliance without any treaty or protector, none, and no red team still serve the best. (And) my plan is collecting the foreign alliances opinion about NEW's image particularly on the raiding policy. And show to our members that since we are carrying Indonesia in this universe, careful raiding is necessary.
M: The mission to reach 2 million NS and 500 nukes, do you think this is achievable, if we look at how we progress towards the goal?
C: if NEW is not a nation based alliance, I really dont care about this issue anyway.
M: Do you think NEW being (in some way) hated for taking out Indonesians members from other alliance?
C: Well, the recruitment is a tricky issue. And first, I need to emphasize that NEW is not taking out Indonesians members from other alliance. We just wanna inform that in this universe, NEW represent Indonesian community. It depends on each individual whether they want to join with us or not and we are very strict with that particularly on the resignation letter things. So there will be no issue for being hated by another alliance.
M: How do you feel about your career path in NEW? from MoE to Triumvir...
C: Well, nothing special. Just do your best, beside this is not a career. This is a responsibility. While still MoE, I set up all the banking infrastructure, trading, and tech dealing. The feeling is bad, with larger responsibility. Btw, Talk to you later, my boss is coming! (I laugh at this!)
