  1. I do not consider myself a smooth talker, and I know that most of the people here will probably start berating me after I post this, but I don't really care at this point.

First off, no one actually said that what steve said at the beginning of this topic was supposed to be a log. His post is just showing how things happened from our point of view. You will undoubtedly call me a liar, or say that I am in denial, but the truth is, we did not spy. I understand why the attacks were made against the Wolfpack. Any alliance receiving "evidence" about spies within their ranks would be crazy not to act upon it. I will not try to take revenge once this is over. However, I will also not abdicate for the Wolfpack to plead guilty for an act that did not occur.

As for that screen shot of the supposed Wolfpack SID forums, who the hell would be stupid enough to put "Special Ops Wolfpack" at the top of the page when an unseen section could just as easily be made upon the currently existing forums? Your opinions of Wolfpack leadership may have been greatly lowered by this event, but do you really think that anyone other than complete and utter noobs would be such imbeciles? I for one know that the leaders of the Wolfpack are not dumb, as many CNers may think. I have been with the Wolfpack since my first day on Planet Bob and have come to learn a great deal of the wolves I serve with.

I admit I can see why some doubt their words. It is well known that Lurking was indeed a trusted member of the Wolfpack. However, he was never a general. I would know, as I remember when he joined and I happen to actually be one of the four generals. I also admit that I considered Lurking a friend, and was appalled by his lies. I do not blame anyone for believing them, but lies they were, and lies they remain. Lurking was in charge of the Academy in our alliance. He did not run a spy ring. All he did was make sure that new nations who joined the Wolfpack knew the rules.

I may have a different opinion than most people here, maybe even a different perspective than most in my alliance. I don’t believe that this was a massive set up by real life friends. I, in fact, miss most of the people in RoT. In the end, however, I will remain absolute in my knowledge of the Wolfpack’s innocence.

My nation may burn, but I and my fellow wolves shall go out with a free conscience.

Feel free to bombard me with criticism, I can't wait to read it (especially BNT's criticism, as I don't want to leave you feeling ignored)
