    As Penguin says however, it has been made abundantly clear via numerous sources that not all of our treaty partners will be accepted if they apply.

    I'm telling you right now that ANY blue alliance that peacefully seeks to join and desires to become a cooperative partner will not be automatically turned away.

    There is no blue unity without Polaris and her friends, we can not be ignored or dismissed as irrelevant to blue unity.

    Exactly. I still hold out hope that day.

    The question is not what the ratio is, the question is does your net collection grow, and it does. 14-5 is larger than 10-3 even if 14-5 has a larger percentage lost to bills.

    This is what I was going to say.

    Operating Expense Ratio is important for nation efficiency, but more net cash = more growth and faster.

    Does this announcement represent a departure from Agora's old stance on the blue team?

    It represents an intentional clarification of our desire to truly increase Blue Unity and that no alliances are automatically denied entry. I can only speak for myself, but I would not vote against the entry of any blue team alliance that peacefully sought to become an Agora member alliance and was committed to true cooperation across the Blue Team.

    If you desire to unite a team, you cannot pick and choose who gets to come in and who gets left out in the cold; unity means everyone.

    Hear, hear.

    In addition, Unity also means a cooperative spirit.

    @Bob Janova: You raise many valid concerns. This thread is formal step towards addressing some of those concerns. Our work is nowhere near complete.

    Good evening.

    Agora comes forward this evening to talk about a few things :)

    First, the imporant stuff. There seems to be a misconception among some alliances that Agora is an exclusive bloc with the intent of creating a dominating group in the blue sphere. That is not true, one of our goals is Blue team unity - although we are aware of the difficulties attached to that goal. Agora has no restrictions imposed on applicant alliances.

    Second, Agora has a new Blue Team Senate candidate running: Firebolt of Welchwood, member of The Foreign Division. Oh wait - that's me.

    Third, UBD had a spectacular victory in our Arcade Tournament and have been awarded this cup for their achievement:

    Fourth, rumour has it a rebellion led by a certain Watchman Clown Emperor has couped Agora leadership and consequently expelled MCXA. We're still waiting on further developments though.

    Fifth, Gopher has a Free BBQ every Tuesday.
