  1. I think it is wrong to consider this a second war. I think of it more as an extension of the current war and a bizzare turn of events. We will have to wait longer to see how things work out before we can consider this a second war.

No, it's pretty much two wars. The first was NpO-\m/. That, however, was canceled due to the *ahem* final release of The Blue Balls War. Finishing never felt so good I'm guessing.

  2. Booze and Environmentalists we will take, the guns have no place in The Order, we have melted our existing ones down to create helpful things for The Order, like windmills, and white picket fences.

Ok, at first it was funny. Now you're just being scary.

    /actually, it's still funny

//should be a great new direction to watch, even when you get up to the stoplight and flip a !@#$%

  3. I'm with mpol on this. I will likely end up fighting alongside alliances I'd rather see cornholed, but I'll hold my nose and do it because I want a war. And a great big war at that. It's my hope that alliances are simply waiting for the weekend or there won't be enough whiskey or a cold enough shower in the world to keep my sanity.

Screw it man, declare on both sides.

/there'd probably be enough people willing to join up THAT group to knock the dogsnot out of both.

  4. It would be nice to have a less complex web but unless minor alliances are less common we will always see confusing webs. On the other hand with the number of treaties in circulation a war and its sides are never quite certain. Many alliances can go either way sometimes dependent only on who strikes first or against whom.

Reducing treaties may only serve to polarise the cyberverse as it was post Great War 1. Concrete sides with treaties almost never over lapping.

Consider it a blessing and a curse.

Sure, if every alliance were either on side A or side B of a bi-polar treaty web thingy, which is probably how it would go. One day though, I'm hoping folks realize there are more than two sides and that they don't have to pick side A or B if they really don't want to.

/To be honest about it though, that hope is mainly because I want to see a war with more than one side. What a glorious cluster-youknowwhat that would be. Side A hits Side B, Side C hits Sides A & B, Side D hits Side A & C. The mass confusion would make for a great time.
