    Best War - The current NPO-FAN war cuz I think its funny FAN screwed up on the ToS and keeps making anti-NPO posts

    Alliance of the Year - NPO (may they surpass GPA in the rankings)

    Best New Alliance - Atlantis (I had no idea they were new, but knowing they are I say they earned it)

    Best Disbanded Alliance - *cough* CIA *cough* well maybe not but I can't think of another disbanded alliance (oh the flame this will receive)

    Best Player - ME or not...seriously...I can't think of who to nominate so no nomination on this one

    Worst Player - That one guy who posted something about spying on NPO....*something*Ruler I beileve his name was....full of lulz EDIT: TheUberRuler (from this thread)

    Judging by your overreaction L33t G33k, it's probably best you don't lead an alliance ever again.

    I am sorry it apprars that way but there is more to this than those 3 lines but reguardless my nation could definatley do better in The NPO...good experience none the less trying my hand at sarting an alliance... ;)

    If I well recall, the proctetorate treaty wasn't something amazing. It almost resembled an "Optional" Protectorate.

    And then again, and I have said this more than once, being a 1 member alliance under the protection of a large Alliance is equal to joining that alliance without being able to receive any boost programs or have any voice in whatever is done and said.

    And you're not quiting your alliance because it can't exist unprotected, you're quiting it because you finaly realized you can't hold it that way. And you could have spared almost a month if you had listened to me from the start...

    Anyway, good luck at NPO.

    Verry hard to continue to exist unprotected indeed. But it wasn't total waste, it was still a good experience none the less, and could come handy in the future...who knows...

    Lucas Perry is a member of the Atlantis Government, if anyone else said it I could have cared less but when someone fromt their government says it, there is a problem, thats my sir is poor foreign relations which does lead to traties being canceled.]

    ...L33t G33k at one point said that Atlantis was considering cancelling the CIA protectorate, and as a result said that he was going to quit the game because he obviously couldn't recruit....

    I have no clue what atlantis would do or not do, there is no room of me to judge either. Atlantis backing their own? :unsure:

    EDIT: All I know is the protectorate is void because of the actions of a member and government official of atlantis, and the best option given my choices I feel is disbanment.

    Article 1 of our protectorate, i've bolded the important parts:

    Article 1: Non-Aggression

    No member from either signatory Alliance will engage in any hostile actions towards the other, verbally or physically. This will pertain to all forms of communication including but not limited to IRC, CN, CN Forums and Alliance Forums.

    Its already canceled for the violation. Without any protectorate the best option I feel is to disban because as a 1 person alliance so far its far to hard to surive without protection.

    I am all up for starting another alliance in the future with a group of people with a solid protector lined up, but I don't think its possible for The CIA to last anytime concidering the circumstances.

    Well every story has two sides. I'm just going to mention someone from atlantis who I talked to about this said after i showed the logs that it didn't seem "hostile" but I think it does, and reguardless I don't appriciate the what was said and even if its not canceled due to a violation of Article 1, then I still choose to cancel it because I don't appricate it.

    This is drastic, I think. There are plenty of under-the-radar micro-alliances that can survive without a protectorate. You're kinda just defeating yourself. Not to mention, if it's just one guy, ending the protectorate is unnecessary.

    Meh, your call, I guess. Good luck to the nations of the CIA...

    Even with the protectorate I was continually getting tech raided...and personally I wouldn't midn as much if the individual in question was just a member of atlantis, but he was a member of the atlantis GOVERNMENT which cannot be ignored. And as a 1 member alliance, since I found I suck at recruiting, its not a huge issue, I really only have to worry about myself, but i'm in peace mode til I find an alliance to join.

    Today in IRC, a member of the Atlantinian senate who I will not name, its upto Atlantis if they want to name him, they know who he is, has engaged in hostile talk in a Private IRC conversation between us. This unfortunatley is a violation of our protectorate specifically Article 1. With this our protectiorate is NULL and VOID, unforutnatley though the cyberverse is a dangerous place the The CIA cannot continue without protection. This means that our best option, since finding a new protector would most likley take too long, is for the the CIA to disban.

    L33T G33K, you started your alliance how many months ago? I think it's a little over two now, and you are still the only member. Just give it up. No offense, but it's obviously not happening. Besides, you can't start an alliance on your own. You need at least two or three friends to make it happen. If you and your friends disagree about the government, or some other aspect of the alliance, learn to compromise.

    For now, why don't you just join Atlantis? It'd be a lot more beneficial to you than your current state of affairs, and there's a chance that you would meet people there who would be interested in carrying out your plans with the CIA at a later date.

    I could join one of any number of alliances but this is something that I wanted to do when I had my old nation but never did...so what if it takes some extra work

    fyi this really isn't a bribe of government position to join, I'm not going to just give someone a government position because they join, I am seeking out people for a temp government til I get the membership to hold elections for the main government, makes things a little easier on me.
