1. I for one would like to thank my Umbrella opponent (Decker) for engaging me in theĀ 3rd most destructive conflict of this war involving thousands. Now while I believe that at this point Umbrella is simply rearranging the deck chairs on the Titanic with the inevitable conclusion at hand, I must confess a certain admiration for not letting the flag touch the ground.

  2. I wonder if all this tough talk will persist when they're paying us reparations for the umpteenth time. I also wonder how much "payback" they think they're going to get from us. Pay back for what? We're not in the business of refunding you for the dumb decisions you made.

Yea, good luck with that. You will find out that your opinion of what constitutes a "dumb" decision will be irrelevant.

    I was when I posted!

This conflict has so many different theatres of engagement going on I guess you could say we are on the same side. I am fighting Knights of Ni because an ally (TPE) requested it. The first time I heard of them was when I dropped half a dozen cruise missiles after saying hello. Of all the conflicts I have been in this is certainly the most comprehensive labyrinth I have seen when it comes to wars.

  4. Unfortunately I find your construction crews working on this bypass to be quite inadequate. As a TFD union representative overlooking your permits to build such a bypass I regret to inform you that I have had to light up three of your foremen. Into very pretty colors.

The longer they stay in peace mode the longer the war will last.

Indeed, the TFD front will grow larger by the day. I do believe that Sparta will suffer from consumption soon and seek the warmer climate that a white flag will provide.

  6. I am not going to comment on MK's foreign policy decisions outside of what went on with a rogue nation within TFD. The biggest reason is because at the moment their actions do not directly affect me within TFD or our alliance (indirectly of course but every action on Bob operates within that capacity).

However what recently happened with that rogue clown does directly affect us. MK was reasonable/rational/communicative in our discussions with them. So if one wants to argue about the ethical ramifications of their recent decisions then go ahead, but don't make that connection with their dealings with us in this case. You are grasping at straws if you do.

A simple question to the alliances pledging support though, if MK decides your one of the few who they decide to leave off the invite list, will you feel the same way?
And that is indeed the point. If there are previous alliances who MK will not sign with (and I believe one can state that with certainty) then this fawning will end.

Yeah... I don't think you're quite understanding the situation. MK isn't going rogue.
Oh no, they are not going rogue, far from it. They know exactly the path they want to take and with this paradigm shift the political climate is going to change. You may not like it but MK is the elephant in the room, when they move, with good intentions or bad, everyone feels it.

Mk had way too many treaties and essentially became what they fought against in Karma. I can see this as a positive move in the direction of a freer and less centralized web power structure. I'm not sure where MK will end up, but it might give some of MKs ex-allies the chance to branch out and not be sycophantic followers.
Agreed, it seems that many here on Bob knew this was coming...except for their followers. CG will collapse as soon as it realizes what has truly happened.

We do, but we didn't feel like it. Our allies wanted in, and we like our allies. So we let them.

<Porkers|GOD> What's the haps with the UOKMB nations that hit you guys, are you leaving it to just GOONS to hit them, or are you willing to share with your allies in GOD? :P
    <Porkers|GOD> Please share..

    <arexes[iFOK]> I wish I was in range

<Vespassianus> do they have any 100k+ nation?
<Beefspari[GOONS]> No, their highest is 41k
    <Vespassianus> it's a shame

    <diomede> Beefspari[GOONS], any slots available for a 75ish k guy like me?

<Sir_Pwnage> Beefspari, is that offer open to people that aren't technically allied to you?
Fair enough Beefspari.

I know we did, and I don't see any GOONS members crying. Sure they could have handled these guys alone, but why should they? If their allies can better cover their bigger nations not asking for help would be retarded, why force more damage on your own alliance then you need to?
Because Xavii, as both you and I know, the implications are that the Goons cannot handle their own in-house kitchen fire. But they certainly have the capability to do so (though it seems we are getting conflicting views on that from different Goons).

UOK have already won this battle. What most here have seen (as evident by the comments in this thread) is that the Goons panicked with this little grease fire.

  12.
What if Umbrella take 8 of our top tier nations and attack TFD, I'm sure you guys can handle that just fine right? Go back to your corner.
Princess, I did lock horns with three Umbrella nations in the last war. I certainly didnt cry and !@#$%* about it. The point is that Goons had the capability to deal with this without help.

They came because they wanted to. And no, we didn't plan for this, but it's a welcome diversion. We relish every worthless micro"alliance" that declares war on us. The activity it generates, the entertainment value, as well as the ridiculous discussions like this one are well worth the damage.
And the fact that your alliance could not handle eight nations. Sweet mother of pearl that is pathetic.
