The peninsula has been ceded to Conti and the Great Council has approved emergency legislation put forward by the Council of Ten to firmly establish the rule of the Bailiwick over its new province. The newly founded Brittany Company has been trusted with the administration of the Brittany for a period of five years. The BC will effectively assume all political and administrative responsibilities in Brittany on behalf of the Great Council. The BC has also been granted special trading rights and fiscal privileges for the length of its mandate. […] Ships operated or owned by the BC have the privilege to sail under the company’s own flag.
