Area 37

Established to maintain sensitive government holdings.

Located in eastern Kentucky. Near Jackson. (OOC: Google it. No where....)

Current Government Developments in Progress:

A perfected TOW (Tube-launched Optically-tracked Wire-to-command-link) missile. The current 'TOW' missile is not truly so as it lacks effective systems.

----To maintain an effective anti-ground weapon while Warhawks are out of line of sight

Large scale military transport plane

----To provide methods for intercontinental transport for military forces

The roughly pentagonal shape is Area 37.

Operations continue smoothly.

OCC: Yea I was looking for barren land (a la area 51 in a desert) and found this random shape in Kentucky and I thought it would be perfect! West of Decoy, KY.

A theoretically better missile began testing today. Targets were set up behind mountains and undercover. The targets were destroyed. The missile proves better than the original. However, the optics still prove of low quality and make it hard to visually track targets if, say, their position moved after a radar return and while the missile was in flight. Engineers begin working on this.

The TOW missile has been fully developed as far as testing goes. It has yet to be tested with real combat situations. The improved missile is being produced and is to be given to the bomberhawks (the bomber Warhawks).

Development continues on the transport plane. Exel Air Company (OOC: Made up...) is making great strides in its development.

One particular model is being tested and is exceeding the requirements of the Government. The Americaner III:
