The Sixth Day of Operations in Mato Grosso do Sul Province had some Militia Attacks from the neighbour Mato Grosso Province, though they were easily repulsed with heavy Militia losses. Retaliation Air Strikes by F-16C Fighting Falcon Multi Role Fighters using AGM-65G Maverick Air to Surface Missiles hitting several supply bases which would mean less supplies for Militia Forces in this area of the Province.

Meanwhile integration into the State of Rio de Janeiro continued. Many new appointees for the Mato Grosso do Sul Province Civilian Administration. Also the Grosso do Sul Military District Headquarters in Florianopolis was in place, allowing the allocation of security to be done by the Rio de Janeiro Military Supreme Command

In Rio Grande do Sol Province, Militia resistance was still fierce. The Second Day of Operations had meant further Rio forces success, the two large pockets in the Central Area of the Province had been split into even smaller pockets, some only a few miles in size. The relentless reducing of these pockets further weakened the already battered Militia units, making them unable to withstand the constant pressure being brought on them.

The smaller ones in the South Western Area and South Eastern Area had been ruthlessly squeezed before being eliminated completely. Further prisoners were taken although again the Militia units here had fought almost until they had been completely destroyed. It was expected that the Militia Resistance would carry on for several more days due to the continuing heavy resistance encountered.

The Seventh Day of Operations in Mato Grosso do Sol Province were marked by the State of Rio de Janeiro formally declaring the Province's annexation to the rest of the country. This Province had been the hardest so far to liberate due to the fanatic resistance. It was hoped that soon the neighbouring Provinces could be cleared to spare the local population from the constant threat of Militia assaults which still hung over the area.

RioGrandedoSulCampaignDayThree.png

The Third Day of Operations in Rio Grande do Sol Province had been another day of frustration as the remaining pockets of Militia Resistance although fewer in number held on. Heavy Fighting raged throughout the day with desperate rearguard actions by Militiamen who had nothing really to lose by fighting on.

Air strikes had been severely curtailed in some areas due to the risk of collateral damage and civilian casualties. Therefore artillery and mortar fire was the main support choices the besieging units had. The battles would rage into the night as the Rio de Janeiro Army began to slowly gain the upper hand.

EspiritoSantoCampaignDayOne.png

Espirito Santo Province had been left as the more Important Provinces were liberated. Now Two Brigades pushed from two directions into the Province. Split into smaller formations they moved deep into the Province against a smaller Militia Force than what they had been facing previously. However they would not be able to link up their fronts by the end of the day, but would gain two footholds in the Province.

This would be another step in securing Provinces that would be in the rear of the soon to be launched Operation in Goias Province which would encircle and cut off Brasilia and the Federal Province. This was an absolute priority to the Rio de Janeiro Military Supreme Command.

The Second Day of Operations in Espirito Santo Province was the day that Militia units in this area collapsed under a renewed assault. Within a few hours the Rio de Janeiro Army had forced them rapidly towards the coast, reducing an already small force into a confused and scared rabble of retreating men.

The only saving grace for the Militia in Espirito Province was the tired condition of the attackers, who had been not had relief since the start of the Campaign in Minas Gerais Province. However the attack reduced the Militia held area and taken the advantage.

RioGrandedoSulCampaignDayFour.png

In Rio Grande do Sol Province the struggle continued into another day. The Militia Pockets still active were again reduced, with some larger ones split into smaller ones or constricted further. Most Militia Units would fight until completely wiped out. Some did surrender but most were determined to fight until they were killed.

The Rio Paramilitary Force would deploy Two Battalions to help the Rio de Janeiro Army which had been forced to withdraw the 8th Infantry Brigade who had suffered heavily trying to reduce the largest remaining pocket in the Central Area north of the City of Santa Maria. The most critical time had now come. Militia strength in the Province was now at the point of no return. There would be no let up now.

The Fifth Day of Operations in Rio Grande do Sol was the day that the Militia Pockets were finally overwhelmed. The fighting would go on til that evening, with the Santa Maria Pocket the final one to be destroyed. The cost to the Militia was not known yet, but it was surely known that their casualty rate was horrific. Fifty Seven Rio de Janeiro Army Soldiers and One Hundred and Twenty One Rio Paramilitary Force Soldiers had been killed.

EspiritoSantoCampaignDayThree.png

The Third Day of Operations in Espirito Santo Province saw Militia units pushed into an even smaller pocket with its rear pinned against the coast. The pressure on the trapped units was now tremendous, with the pocket under continuous fire. The first deployment of the Rio de Janeiro Navy would also occur, with Barracuda Class Corvette RNS Barracuda firing at Militia Positions with its 4.5 Inch Mark 8 Naval Gun.

The Rio de Janeiro Air Force would also use its B-52H Stratofortress Strategic Bomber for the first time, It would fly a single sortie in the evening, dropping multiple AGM-154 Joint Standoff Weapons on a Militia Forward Headquarters killing a Militia Leader and his entire staff as the Headquarters was levelled in the resulting explosions.

The Sixth Day of Operations in Rio Grande do Sol saw the lessening of Ground Forces in the Province. With Combat Operations now completed, only the 7th Infantry Brigade would be kept in place while the two other Brigades were replaced by a Rio Paramilitary Force Battalion who would be part the local garrison. It was hoped that now the Southern Campaign was now effectively over, resources and logistical effort could be re-directed northwards as all effort was to be directed there.

EspiritoSantoCampaignDayFour.png

Day Four of Operations in Espirito Santo Province saw Militia units pushed into a perimeter around the Province Capital Vitoria. The gradual destruction of Militia Strength in the Province had been an easy task, with the trapped Militia units numbering only around a thousand poorly equipped fighters. The attacking force had been reduced to two Infantry Brigades as the Mechanised Brigade which had been committed to the Campaign being redeployed for relief.

GoiasCampaignDayOne.png

At Four am that same day, the major offensive into Goias Province began. Two Armoured Brigades, Two Mechanised and Three Infantry Brigades launched massive thrusts in a massive encirclement operation designed to surround the Federal Province and Brasilia. The ferocity of the assault meant that within a few hours a significant amount of the Province had been liberated. Militia units in the South Central Area would be forced northwards into the Federal Province, although they would manage to hold position just south of it.

Elsewhere there were more major gains, however in the end the advance would not go much further in successes than capturing the Province Capital Goiania and securing lateral communications which would make the deployment of reserves along the entire front much easier.

The 1st Air Assault Division would also participate, dropping into the City of Formosa which sat on the North Eastern Border of Federal Province. Its strategic location which would be a launch pad for attacks into the Province made it an Important Target. At Five Thirty am they would deploy into the City, rapidly capturing the City including the Important Highway. However its isolation would mean that throughout the day it would be subject to many Militia counter attacks, but would hold firm against anything thrown against it. Strangely the Militia Forces inside Federal Province itself would not even attempt to recapture the Province crossing, being content to just deploy defensive positions.

This Offensive would be the culmination of many weeks of planning, this stage one of what would be the eventual capture of Brasilia itself. However first Goias Province would have to be cleared,

The Seventh Day of Operations in Rio Grande do Sol saw the final annexing of the Province into the State of Rio de Janeiro. With Combat Operations now fully completed, the 7th Infantry Brigade and a Rio Paramilitary Force Battalion would now officially become the local garrison. The Southern Campaign was now definitely over, a resounding success for the State of Rio de Janeiro and its Military. All Military units not destined to stay in Rio Grande do Sol were already being reallocated either for rest of redeployment to other combat zones.

GoiasCampaignDayTwo.png

The Second Day of Operations in Goias Province had yielded further Rio forces success. Militia Units had been pushed way to the west with determined attacks against well prepared Militia positions. However the going had been tough, with significant effort being expended to reduce the Militia held territory. A significant perimeter was still held by the Militia in the Western Area of the Province which would need to be eliminated.

In the Central Area, the Militia forces here were being slowly pushed towards the Federal Territory. However the most powerful formations in the area were in this sector, making the advance even more difficult. The forces now surrounding this Militia Pocket now numbered Three Brigades pushing from multiple directions, plus the 1st Air Assault Brigade holding position in the City of Formosa.

The Rio de Janeiro Military Supreme Command would deploy for the first time Rio de Janeiro Republican Guard units, deploying into Minas Gerais Province the 1st Republican Guard Brigade Rio de Janeiro and 2nd Republican Guard Brigade Sao Paulo in reserve ready for the assault on Brasilia. These Elite Brigades were expected to use the bridgehead provided at Formosa by the 1st Air Assault Brigade as their launching point. However the planning of the Operation were still at an early stage due to the developing situation on the ground.

Day Five of Operations in Espirito Santo Province saw the complete collapse of Militia units as the two Infantry Brigades containing them made a final effort to capture the Province Capital Vitoria. The destruction of Militia Strength in the Province had been an easier task due to the reduced number of Militia Fighters here, but the diverging of strength to deal with them had been sorely hated and had impacted the main effort in Goias Province.

A new concerted offensive began the same day with a huge offensive against Mato Grosso Province, Para Province and Rondonia Province. The Assault was made by Five Brigades, One Armoured Brigade, One Mechanised Brigade and Three Infantry Brigades with both Jungle Infantry Battalions plus One Hundred and Fifty 21st Special Operations Group Soldiers.

At Two am the attack began, with the 2nd Armoured Brigade and the 1st Jungle Infantry Battalion thrust rapidly through the eastern area of Mato Grosso Province, before bursting into the South Eastern area of Para Province. The 5th Infantry Brigade would form a left flank shield along with the 1st Jungle Battalion to take into account the extended front line.

At the same time the 3rd Mechanised Brigade and 8th Infantry Brigade burst through the Central Area of Mato Grosso Province on a broad front, pushing the outnumbered Militia units back and rapidly clearing miles upon miles of territory. The Province Capital Cuiaba was liberated that afternoon, with the Militia front virtually disintegrating.

The assault on the left flank was made an hour later with the 9th Infantry Brigade and 2nd Jungle Infantry Battalion supported by the 21st Special Operations Group units moving through the Western Area of Mato Grosso Province before striking into Rondonia Province. Progress was rapid and by Three pm the whole Eastern Area had been liberated and a significant amount of Militia Forces in the Province had been destroyed.

The rapid assault had ripped away countless Militia units in Mato Grosso Province and came into the Militia rear completely dislocating lateral communications and decimating Militia formations. The first day had also pushed the front line far to the north and west, liberating acres of land and securing new forward bases for further operations.

GoiasCampaignDayThree.png

The Third Day of Operations in Goias Province was further Militia losses and the collapse of most resistance in the Western Pocket which had been reduced even further. The main bulk of Combat Operations had been concluded, but stubborn resistance meant that the remaining Militia inside the Province were being stubborn and fighting to the death, especially in the Western Pocket.

Around the Federal Province where the main Militia Force was, their defensive lines were proving hard to take, meaning that fighting was expected to run for a couple more days. Rio Casualties were however quite light, due to the Body Armour and precautions being taken.

NorthernCampaignDayTwo.png

The Second Day of the Northern Campaign yielded further successes:

Para Province

This sector had been tough going due to the advance being mainly carried down one main road. However the offensive was progressing well with further miles of territory being liberated and Militia forces being pushed to the southern outskirts of the Province Capital Maraba.

The bridgehead established would be a stepping stone for further major operations as in this sector the battle was only in its opening stage. There would be more heavy fighting to come.

Mata Grosso Province

Things were going extremely well with most of the Province now out of Militia hands. Militia strength in this Province had been severely reduced and their ability to mount any effective resistance almost completely removed.

Here it seemed the Militia units were attempting to disengage and fall back towards the Amazona Province and Para Province. The situation looked like soon Mata Grosso Province could be cleared, unless the Militia were to spring any surprises.

Rodonia Province

The offensive here had been very difficult. The Militia units in the Province had chosen to stand and fight, making progress slower than elsewhere. However there was no need for concern as Rio forces had secured a decent wedge of territory and had eliminated any threat of Militia units escaping to the North East.

Fierce Fighting would still rage through the day as Rio forces strove to get an edge over their opponents. It was only a matter of time though before the weakened Militia units broke.

The Sixth of Operations in Espirito Santo Province were the start of normality returning to the Province. Food, Clean Water and Medicine flowed in from the south, backed with reconstruction teams who would begin rebuilding what was destroyed. It was to be another fast transition to full integration of the Province into the State of Rio de Janeiro which would take place tomorrow.

The Seventh of Operations in Espirito Santo Province were the start of full integration of the Province into the State of Rio de Janeiro. Laws and Regulations had come into effect with each person living in the Province now a Full Citizen. Further tracts of coastline had been gained, with the Province being the largest producer of Petroleum in the Brazilian Area. This would be valuable for the Rio de Janeiro Military.

Day Four of Operations in Goias Province was mostly marked by the final liquidation of the Western Pocket. Militia losses and the collapse of resistance inside the Province had been sudden and swift, allowing Rio Forces to mass on the border with the Federal Province where an estimated Five Thousand Militia Fighters with significant supplies were present,

NorthernCampaignDayThree.png

The Third Day of the Northern Campaign was another day of great advances:

Para Province

The Province Capital Maraba was overwhelmed early that day, unlocking the junction there and allowing Rio Forces to push up the Highway. The bridgehead established would be rapidly enlarged westwards securing the South East area and most of Central area. Jungle Infantry supported by air strikes had eliminated several Militia camps inside the Jungle and wrecked any attempt at Militia entrenchment.

Mata Grosso Province

The Province except a small portion had now entered Rio Forces hands. Militia units in the Province had fallen back into the Amazona Province and Para Province, albeit under heavy air attack. The complete collapse of Militia strength in this area would be a forgone conclusion as the day ended as contacts with Militia units began to dwindle as the rearguards seemed to be disengaging to make their escape.

Rodonia Province

The offensive here had finally broken through. The Rio Forces in the Province had brutally battered their way through, rapidly overwhelming the Militia units and making sweeping advances. Resistance was still quite heavy, with Rio Forces having to expend copious amounts of ammunition to eliminate Militia positions. However the front was mobile which had raised Rio Forces morale.

Day Five of Operations in Goias Province was the start of Civilian Integration. The first Political actions would begin with the election of the local politicians and introduction of some Rio laws. It would take a couple more days but by now it had been done so many times it would go like clockwork.

NorthernCampaignDayFour.png

Day Four of the Northern Campaign was marked with key events:

Para Province

The advance inside the Province by Rio Forces had stepped up a gear as forces coming in from Mato Grosso Province caused panic in the Militia units as they burst onto their right flank and began to roll up the Province. Progress in the North East was the fastest with Rio Forces rapidly approaching the coast at the Province Capital Belem. It was a major success and would set for the stage for the final North Western Campaign in Amazonas Province.

Mata Grosso Province

The Province had now completely entered Rio Forces hands. The complete elimination of Militia in this area and the continuous advance across into Para Province would mean this area was now irrelevant in the grand scheme of things as Militia units were now no longer there and the front moved rapidly northwards.

Rodonia Province

The offensive this day would rapidly move forward, overwhelming Militia attempts to stem their advance. This complete collapse had come due to the allocation of One fresh Infantry Brigade to the front, allowing a new impetus and would pay off with Rio Forces coming extremely close to the Province Capital Porto Velho and the complete elimination of Militia from the Province.

BahiaCampaignDayOne.png
A new assault was launched against Militia forces in Bahia Province, with Two Infantry Brigade plus a Mechanised Brigade and an Armoured Brigade pushed in seven echelons from the west and south into the Province. The attacks rapidly moved forward, clearing all of the Southern area and most of the Western areas within eighteen hours. However the attacks would soon meet determined Militia positions and the first major engagements would take place throughout the night as Militia forces fought back with their usual fierce determination.

Day Six of Operations in Goias Province was the continuation of Civilian Integration. Local Government was now in place and the first delivery of money from the Federal Reserve in Rio de Janeiro had arrived which would be placed in circulation immediately. Tomorrow the Province would officially join the state.

NorthernCampaignDayFive.png

Day Five of the Northern Campaign contained more Rio success:

Para Province

The advance continued inside the Province with Rio Forces reaching the coast at the Province Capital Belem and clearing all the way up to the southern bank of the Amazon River. Any Militia units south of it had been completely destroyed with a significant amount of captured supplies taken. Their complete collapse throughout the day and flight north had been sudden and when it started it was total. The Rio units chasing only just managed to keep contact and had achieved by the evening a decisive victory. The final stage of Operations in the Province would now begin.

Mata Grosso Province

The Province had now began the process of being absorbed into the State of Rio de Janeiro. It was now being used as a rear area for Operations still under way in Para Province. Logistical Operations now replaced Combat Operations as the repair of infrastructure damaged in the fighting began.

Rodonia Province

Rio Forces would today liberate Province Capital Porto Velho and effect the complete the elimination of Militia from the Province, fully liberating it. All Militia forces had fled to Amazonas Province as Rio units had overwhelmed their final line of defence and reached the Province border ending the Campaign in this Province.

BahiaCampaignDayTwo.png
Day Two of Operations in Bahia Province saw more gains for Rio Forces and further Militia collapse and heavy losses. Rio units would come within the outskirts of the Province Capital Salvador and had pushed into the Central Areas of the Province. Here Militia resistance was substantial, but they could not halt the irresistible Rio advance who now had a significant foothold.

Day Seven of Operations in Goias Province saw the Province officially join the state. The State of Rio de Janeiro Flag would be raised over the City Hall marking the start of Rio Governance, Celebrations would take place in the Province Capital Gionia all day marking the occasion. Another part of the quest had been achieved.

Day Six of the Northern Campaign finally saw the end of Combat Operations:

Para Province

Today the Province was finally liberated by Rio Forces reaching the Province border with Amapa Province. All Militia units had been completely destroyed with their complete collapse being total. The Rio units had achieved a decisive victory. Operations in the Province to bring the Province under civilian control had already began and the Province would be added with the other two liberated to the Rio State tomorrow.

Mata Grosso Province

The Province had now finished most of the establishment of civilian offices now completed. The full integration of the Province into the State of Rio de Janeiro would take place tomorrow along with the redeployment of Rio Forces out of the area. The Province would be annexed tomorrow.

Rodonia Province

The civilian integration was nearly complete, with reconstruction of infrastructure completed as damage had been light. This remote area was along the International border so it would be a focal point for the Border Patrol. It would be added to the State tomorrow with a significant milestone reached as one of the penultimate Provinces would join.

BahiaCampaignDayThree.png
Day Three of Operations in Bahia Province saw Rio units capture the Province Capital Salvador and had moved into the Central Areas of the Province. Militia units had been hammered back into a much reduced pocket, with their strength significantly reduced. The capture of the Province was now a certainty, with Militia strength now past the point of no return.

BrasiliaCampaignDayOne.png
The much anticipated Offensive into Federal Province and Brasilia was launched at Two Am with massive assaults from all sides. The 1st Republican Guard Brigade Rio de Janeiro and 2nd Republican Guard Brigade Sao Paulo launched their attacks first from the bridgehead the City of Formosa which sat on the North Eastern Border of Federal Province. It broke through and began to push relentlessly forward. The new units would fare well, gaining a sizeable wedge of territory and as more units joined the fray, pulled in more and more Militia units.

One Armoured Brigade, Three Mechanised and Four Infantry Brigades had attacked in unison two hours later around rest of the entire border, punching the Militia front inwards which was under extreme air strikes which came in at alarming frequency. All assaults compressed the Militia pocket, clearing all the border areas of the Federal Territory and by the evening fighting began in the outskirts of Brasilia itself.

Day Seven of the Northern Campaign finally saw Para Province, Mata Grosso Province and Rodonia Province annexed to the State of Rio de Janeiro. The swift movement of the border northwards and westwards meant another significant step in the recreation of the Brazilian State. The securing of the northern coast was also another major step as it meant new bases for the Rio de Janeiro Navy to utilise in maintaining the country's security.

Day Four of Operations in Bahia Province saw the end of Combat Operations. The Province had now completely entered Rio Forces hands and Militia presence was now non existent. The final hours of combat had seen Militia forces retreating northwards out of the Province with Rio Forces pursuing. The start of civilian integration would now begin.

BrasiliaCampaignDayTwo.png
The Second Day of Operations in Federal Province and Brasilia was marked by the movement of Rio units further into the City. Fighting was heavy with house to house fighting being the main actions. Care was being made to not make too much damage, but sometimes Militia units had to be removed by simply blasting the building to smithereens by either air strikes or by explosives.

Palls of smoke hung over the City, with Mi-24D Hind D Attack Helicopters and AH-64D Apache Attack Helicopters could be seen making attack runs against Militia positions, dodging Rocket Propelled Grenades and Small Arms Fire. These assets were vital as fighting continued to escalate.

Day Five of Operations in Bahia Province was marked by further integration of Rio Government Offices. Introduction of Currency would now begin with the first Rio Real Banknotes being delivered and distributed to pay local wages. Elsewhere repair works were moving at a fast pace with crews working non stop. It was only a couple days until this Province would also become part of the growing state.

Operations in Brasilia was marked by further house fighting as Rio Forces pushed further into the City. The Militia hold on the City had reduced considerably in most areas, with fighting along the entire front continuing. The City had suffered quite badly in the outskirts fighting as buildings were being totally flattened due to the stubbornness of the Militia.

However the aim would be to make sure the Important Central Areas were saved from any significant damage. But the fighting was still fierce, with the Rio units trying their hardest to achieve the vital breakthrough which was so close. Once Brasilia was integrated into the country, the State would be renamed the Federal State of Brazil.

Multiple attacks split between Four Brigades were opened the same day into the North East Region of Maranhão Province, Piauí Province, Ceará Province, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba Province, Pernambuco Province, Alagoas Province and Sergipe Province plus another Brigade would invade the last Militia held Province in the Central-West Region, Tocantin Province. All Provinces were immediately overrun as here Militia presence here was very low due to the Militia being severely depleted and the Provinces were small.

Immediately the clean up of Militia traces began with a massive influx of Humanitarian Aid and Monetary Grants to keep the Population from starving. It would be a formidable task, although the final stages of the conflict would now be decided in the West of the Country and in Brasilia.

Day Six of Operations in Bahia Province saw repair works on Infrastructure completed. The threat of Militia attacks had receded when the Operations further north in the North East Province had occurred. The Civilian Population had received the arrival of Rio rule well, with transition to civilian rule moving fast. Tomorrow the Province would be joined to the State.

North East Region of Maranhão Province, Piauí Province, Ceará Province, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba Province, Pernambuco Province, Alagoas Province and Sergipe Province and Central-West Region Tocantin Province.

On Day Two of Operations here, the Provinces would be further strengthened by the influx of more monetary aid to deal with some issues such as Deforestation, Degradation of Mangroves and Restingas, Poaching and Animal Trading, Infrastructure, Dams, Mining, Tourism Development and Introduction of Alien Species. These issues would be a cornerstone of policies in the Region.

BrasiliaCampaignDayFour.png
Day Four of Operations in Brasilia was marked by heavy combat as a renewed pushes by Rio Forces against a resolute Militia defence. Casualties had been light compared to expectations, with tactics being aimed to keep the average soldier safe. Air strikes had been reduced by half and Precision Ordinance would be used only as they moved further into the Central Area.

Plans were already under way to move the Capital from Rio de Janeiro to Brasilia, with Government Officials already setting up temporary offices in the liberated areas of Brasilia which would be moved to the permanent ones once the City was fully liberated.

AmapaCampaignDayOne.png
The much anticipated Offensive into Amapa Province was launched by the 1st Infantry Brigade and 8th Infantry Brigade. The depleted and demoralised Militia forces are immediately pushed back, with massive losses. Militia units here had been isolated for some time, and had less than what was needed to resist effectively. Therefore the assault had crossed into the Province and had managed to clear the Southern areas. This would be a good springboard for the next phase.

NorthWestCampaignDayOne.png
The Final Offensive was finally launched at three am into Amazonas Province and Roriama Province. One Mechanised Brigade and Two Infantry Brigades would launch assaults up and either side of the Main Highway through the Eastern Area of Amazonas Province with the Mechanised Brigade and One of the Infantry Brigades attached to it bursting into Roriama Province, with the 1st Air Assault Brigade being dropped into the Province Capital Boa Vista to secure the City and to prevent the City becoming a Militia Stronghold.

The remaining Infantry Brigade would join the 1st and 2nd Jungle Infantry Battalions plus supporting 21st Special Operations Brigade units on the extreme left flank in beginning to clear Amazonas Province. The final major Militia force was known to be here. Massive amounts of resources and all Air Assets not engaged in the Brasilia Campaign would be committed to this offensive. The final stage had begun.

Day Seven of Operations in Bahia Province saw the Province joined to the State. The Province Capital Salvador exploded in celebration as the Official Start of Stability began. The City was also well known due to its countless popular outdoor parties, including its street carnival. This would be revived in the coming months and bring normality back at last.

North East Region of Maranhão Province, Piauí Province, Ceará Province, Rio Grande do Norte, Paraíba Province, Pernambuco Province, Alagoas Province and Sergipe Province and Central-West Region Tocantin Province.

On Day Three of Operations here, there had been new issues as aid being delivered was being delayed due to the overwhelming demand for it. Flow of supplies was slow, with the civilian transporters being strained by the schedule, which had forced the Military to divert some C-130H Hercules Transport Aircraft for aerial drops. This would need to be done while the situation was sorted.

BrasiliaCampaignDayFive.png
Day Five of Operations in Brasilia was the day Militia resistance would begin to buckle. A sudden reduction of the Militia pocket had been the day's talking point as Rio Forces began to furiously compress the significant Militia force inside the City. A Major Final Battle was now under way around the Pananoa Lake which was in the Central Area of the City, where Militia units were making their last stand.

Four Rio de Janeiro Army Brigades and Two Rio de Janeiro Republican Guard Brigades were concentrated around the pocket, pouring devastating fire into it. It was now a killing match with the Militia being assailed from all sides. The Fire-Storm could be seen for miles as explosions rocked the area, glowing in the night sky.

AmapaCampaignDayTwo.png
Day Two of the Offensive into Amapa Province was continued with ruthless efficiency. The renewed assault pushed further into the Province, moving further and further towards the coast. The militia trapped here were only fighting to preserve their lives, but in essence delaying what was a foregone conclusion. However the fighting would continue.

NorthWestCampaignDayTwo.png
Day Two of Operations in Amazonas Province and Roriama Province were further Rio success. The biggest success was the swift advance of Rio Forces in Roriama Province, which had pushed aside Militia units and had linked up with the 1st Air Assault Brigade in the Province Capital Boa Vista. They had then forced Militia forces northwards, gaining a breathing space from the City.

In Amazonas Province there were more gains, with steady progress to the north west, clearing miles of Amazon Jungle and slowly grinding down the biggest Militia force remaining in Brazilian territory. This force however was a shadow of its former self, battered by countless offensives and short on volunteers and equipment. It was a spent force and soon it would be completely eliminated by this final offensive.

On Day Four of Operations here, the flow of supplies was still slow, but some C-130H Hercules Transport Aircraft had made the aerial drops. Civilian Shipping had been commandeered and deliveries were being made and supplies were now getting through that way. Other events such as re-building was now about halfway complete, with most roads now having new surfaces.

BrasiliaCampaignDaySix.png
Day Six of Operations in Brasilia was the day Militia units were pushed into a final line of defence situated  Rio de Janeiro  Rio Forces were now attacking towards the Presidential Palace which was at the extreme Eastern Edge of the pocket. Militia forces knew that its capture was important and was resisting hard.

Each unit had been given a Brazilian Flag which would symbolise the rise of the new Federal State of Brazil when the City was liberated. The front on the Eastern Side of the Pocket lay right next to the Presidential Palace, but Republican Guard units were being held. Regular Army units were now slowly grinding their way from the West. The final stage of the Battle was now under way.

AmapaCampaignDayThree.png

Day Three of the Offensive into Amapa Province saw Rio Forces's relentless assault push Militia units against the coast. They would be then trapped in a much reduced pocket now unable to escape as they were squeezed inexorably. The victorious Rio forces would not press their advantage further that day as they knew that the Militia were beaten. They could afford to rest before making the final assault.

NorthWestCampaignDayThree.png

Day Three of Operations in Amazonas Province and Roriama Province was a significant Day. It would begin in the morning with Operations coming to and end in Roriama Province, which had finally been cleared of Militia. This was the final Province on the Northern Coast to be cleared, creating another safe area for supplies to be landed to support Operations still going on in Amazonas Province.

In Amazonas Province Rio Forces continued to advance, smashing Militia forces and forcing them further west into a reduced area of territory. The sudden collapse had come as air assets committed to the battle had commenced a massive strike plan which had broken the back of the Militia. Surrenders by Militia soldiers had sky-rocketed as the strikes caused shock and misery to them. The endgame was now in sight.

Day Seven of Operations in Brasilia was the day Militia units were finally eliminated and the City fully liberated. at Three Thirty pm Rio Forces raised the new Federal State of Brazil Flag on the roof of the Presidential Palace, signalling the end of the Battle in Federal Province and the Formation of the new Brazilian State. These pictures were shown on the Rio News Network and would be seen by people all over the world. Celebrations erupted all over the city and would echo throughout the country.

Day Five of Operations in Amazonas Province and Roriama Province. Rebuilding here was not that urgent due to the small amount of civilian centres of population. The main effort here was to make sure that the Brazilian Amazon became a formidable obstacle to any invader and that it is protected accordingly. Conservation was also a major goal here, with campaigns against illegal logging and mining launched to safeguard the Jungle's future.

However the effects of conflict would still be present as at least Half a Million Militia Fighters were now in captivity and the Brazilian Economy was recovering from a budget deficit caused by the necessary funding of the conflict. The effects were to be felt for some time.

With the collapse of Bolivia, Brazilian forces would enter Acre Province to bring it into the Brazilian State. The movement was steady and the final historical Brazilian area would now be brought into the fold. The First Day of getting the Province ready to join the state would be the swift movement of aid to the population that lived in the Province. At the same time a small garrison of the single Jungle Infantry Brigade and an Infantry Brigade would enter the Province to provide the security.

Regular deliveries would now be scheduled. Normality was slowly arriving again,
