Uberstein
A Classified Diplomatic Cable to the government of the American Commonwealth: Chancellor Samara has received, and accepts, the American offer to initiate diplomacy. He is willing to send Ambassador Tayyib Bousaid to the Commonwealth, or receive guests personally in Sudan. Unfortunately his duties at this time make leaving the country impossible. Uberstein
Undersecretary of State Riley Bensen would be received by soldiers of the 1st Infantry Division in dress uniform at the Khartoum airport, and escorted to the Chancellor's Palace. The motorcade would take a slightly scenic route, showing off the nicer parts of the city. Chancellor Samara, wearing the traditional jallabiya and a sarwal of Sudan, greeted Bensen in the courtyard, "It is a pleasure to meet you, Mr. Bensen. I hope your flight was uneventful." MostGloriousLeader
"Greetings Chancellor" Bensen said with a smile. "The trip was fine and I'd like to thank you for giving me such a lovely tour of the city"
Uberstein
"Khartoum isn't exactly a jewel, but it is the heart of this nation. I just hope that my administration only makes it stronger. Please, come inside." Chancellor Samara would lead Bensen into the building, to an office overlooking the Nile. He took a seat behind a large wooden desk littered with papers, and gestured for the Undersecretary to take a seat in one of the two armchairs in front of the desk. "Would you like any refreshments? I'm a fan of whiskey myself, acquired a taste during a visit to the American south. A wonderful country, your Commonwealth, though I haven't been there for some time."
