I might come to the conclusion upon reading the OP that someone(s) in charge of other alliances I cannot name used former PLUS members and their connections to PLUS to stage the coup and effectively keep PLUS out of the war.
As to why...draw your own conclusions.
There's always a bigger fish.The "fish" in this case, being the story. The "story" here, being what happened behind the scenes. I would hear of this, for it sounds interesting. All in due time, I suppose.

An idea:
Should either signatory fail to aid the other signatory during wartime, militarily or financially, without a significant and viable issue presented that would prevent activation of this document, then the abandoned signatory and its other collective allies (if any) are hereby granted the sovereign right to declare a state of hostilities against the signatory cancelling or failing to act upon it.Meh, I see some holes in this where this might not work, but it's just a thought.
Meant for MDPs, MAPs, MAODPs, MDOAPs, and MADPs.

Hmm...this may make things interesting in the coming days...however, most of the alliances connected to Legio X are small. If PLUS enters, then...well, maybe, but who knows?
Aside from that, good to see treaties being honored as they should.
I must also thank IAA, CSN, and USN, for I'm beginning to believe that they have broken a disgusting trend.

As I've stated previously, I would vehemently defend their freedom of speech IRL, but the U.S. Constitution doesn't exist on CN and neither doesn't freedom of speech. Especially when members of NoV are using CN to spread RL hate.
OOC: This brings interesting thoughts on which you believe in more: Your IC, or your OOC.
I suppose destroying pixels is a lot more appealing than killing people. Fair. I don't pretend to be much different. Still, this is the kind of drama that just doesn't quite cut it in the interests of providing entertainment.

Oh that's right, your alliances don't roleplay as "nazis," they "role-play" as German and Finnish fascists. I guess we are supposed to see how important this distinction is. They also bring in OOC WWII National Socialist Party imagery for use in-game. Naturally, they "sterilize" it by photoshopping out swastikas and such. And they use the White Power "Odal rune" as symbol cover for the swastika in their sigs and avatars.
I have no issue with shopping images this way. But, if you are going to use them - don't try to use them to promote exactly what they were promoting OOC. I have received a lot of mail and irc queries on this. And not one person who defends the "rune" has denied that it is the "badge" of white racial identity movements. Instead, they say what the symbol means to them and how sad they are that the symbol has been hijacked.
All I see in this thread is how NoV is trying to reframe the debate to hoodwink everyone into believing that they are the OOC/IC victims here.
It's really laughable.
If NoV and FCO want to roleplay as German and Finnish fascists, it really helps if you are actually ROLE-PLAYING and your members are not spreading your OOC political and racial purity nonsense in this game.
When many of your members are open about being German and Finnish fascists IC and OOC, I guess we are the bad guys for calling them out on that. After all, everyone knows fascism is just a harmless political ideology.
For over a year now, we've watched as players have promoted the cuddly sides of "fascism" and cultural purity in the OOC areas of this game, like the Boiler Room and in IRC. And plastered their "safe" imagery in the daily bumped IC NoV recruitment thread here.
And now that we call them on it, using the very IC and OOC sources they use in their propaganda and recruiting techniques, we are being called the OOC attackers. Or, "ZOMG!!! TPF are the ebil spais and cyberstalkers!!1!"
Brilliant spin and propaganda work there. Thankfully, it's not flying with many people.
From reading these forums the past few days, the only people I see defending it are either long-time Nordreich/Norden Verein supporters or some of those who seem blinded by their hate for the "stronger alliances" in cybernations.

Hmm..nope, looking at most posts I've seen...most of the hails for these movements of yours comes from your allies (which happen to be quite plentiful, btw), whom are hailed for honoring treaties. Cool, cool. But, most others, especially in this thread, seem to be believing in this..."propaganda spin". And on account of NoV's history, I doubt it has much to do with tC being large.
I for one, couldn't care less about tC. Where it went, what it does, etc. I never much liked NoV either, because of actions taken long ago against the left, which was a witch hunt much like the one TPF is on right now. I don't speak for everyone, but really, it's not as superficial as you want to believe it is.
IMO, NoV has provided a solid case for itself, moreso than most alliances that find themselves in this position, while your original CB is the thinest I have ever witnessed. "Obvious Reasons?" I thought at first that it was a story I simply had come late upon. No, in fact, it seemed I wasn't alone until you found your CB, which, again, isn't much thicker.
Additionally, the only flaming so far has come from your side, mostly of the Communists, which says a lot about this coalition you've mustered against the Nationalists, that being powerful enough as it is to simply destroy NoV without a word. Not enough to defeat one physically, though I doubt NoV's will is as flimsy as this conquest. In fact, it only hurts you.
That being said, good luck to NoV and their allies, whether of securing peace or just doing some damage.

No. This is the most pathetic excuse for a CB I have ever seen, and there have been some pretty stupid ones.
If you're going to find an excuse to attack someone, at least make it good. Jesuspuffs...I never thought I'd be leaning more toward NoV on any issue, and now that I am...well...that's saying something...

Okay, everyone seems to be going on about free speech. Free speech, both here, and IRL, is little more than something we all like to affiliate ourselves with to give us some false sense of morality. Very few people truly practice such a doctrine, myself included.
Here's the deal: No matter what anyone tries to claim on the outside, inside, unless you are a racist, you tend to have a blatent intolerance of it. I should know. I have it as well. Well, I suppose it's not particularly adamant. The sight of a crudely drawn cartoon character with a word bubble containing a swastika happens to be something quite lulzy to me. One of the funnier things is seeing a swastika with the words "Vote Obama" next to it. Seriously, it's hilarious.
However, if I was ever to hear someone seriously bashing another race for naught but them being that race, then I would want that $%&@er far away from me. I don't tolerate racism, inwardly or outwardly. In fact, if I led my own real-world nation, racist mother$%&@ers spreading hate speech would be arrested. Simple as that. I don't believe nazis or racists should be killed on the spot (though I wouldn't lose sleep over it since the world would be better off anyway), but that doesn't mean that I can't despise their !@#$%^&*. I don't pretend otherwise, inwardly or outwardly, and I'm willing to bet that, inside, most people feel the same. Free speech doesn't matter. In fact, on unrelated terms, you can't say you're going to kill the US president without getting arrested. We all hope for it, yeah, but we can't say we're going to do it. They consider it a threat to national security (honestly, I think it would be a blessing for national security, but...meh).
All I'm saying is, pure free speech, is not something that's oft practiced, and those who do practice it are oft on the recieving end of more intolerance. Why not just drop the morality act and save us all some grief?

On Martens you seem to have ignored and not addressed the post in which he claims Africans are a lesser evolved and inferior race. His past comments about Africans were supposedly taken out of context, what is his/your excuse for these?

lol those Africans phail at life.This was said in response to a post from someone else (who did admit to being racist and subsequently kicked, and who's name I forgot) telling a story about some guys, who happened to be black men, being asshats. It was not a blanket statement in the slightest.
I've no link, admittedly, but this is an accusation that has gone on and on far enough. Not to mention, as Weiss von Toten already put it, Martens isn't in NoV anymore at any rate, so this portion of the CB at least, is complete and utter, for lack of any desire to put it nicely, !@#$%^&*.
Now can we please get off the Martens thing? It's really damned annoying, so much so that even lots outside NoV have gotten sick of it.

Having a corrupt government tends to put a hamper on one's ability to organize and lead one's forces, especially if one is not sure who's loyal and who is not.
