I will agree to your territorial claims. Also I will agree to a open borders policy. Perhaps we could make a CN version of NAFTA providing benefits to all North American nations?
Since we have lost our territories to the North, we claim the remaing unclaimed portions of Mexico, Guatemala and Belize.
Also would it be possible to have a embassy exchange? The Emperor wishes to personally visit your capital in to discuss the future of our nations.

We did not settle down but there were many families that followed the army and we hired many construction firms to build. As for any troops routing us I have seen none. All our soldiers are in Kuwait city providing for its security. We respect the Kingdom of Babylon, and will leave as soon as possible to help improve relations in the middle east, however you threaten us with military forces. We ask in the future that you use diplomatic channels rather than military. We only attacked Kuwait since it was unclaimed and did not traspass on the borders of any other nation. We would like to know that after we are gone that the region will be safe and the rights of minorities especially christians in the area are protected.

Nuevo Reino de Leon will leave the area if we will not be attacked by your forces as we leave. Also we ask that you help escort us out of the Gulf as our naval force going to handle those leaving. We also ask one week for us to leave as we have many civilian personel who are located in our government facilities who must be loaded on seperate civilian ships.

To the Republic of War, I would like to discuss our borders. The land you claim in Mexico is part of our nation's ancestral homeland. We will respect your nations independence and total seperation from us. We propose the border between our countries be at the Nueces River Texas. Also we would like to address your claim to the Gulf of Mexico. We propose that we both jointly control not just the area marked on the map but the whole of the Gulf's water so that we may stop foriegn expansion into the continent.

I did not mean that your country would become a principality, or even fight our wars. You will also not have to fly our flag. You will have the full rights of a free nation but appear to be as part of a confederation(like the Holy Roman Empire). I know that you are far more powerful but that does not pose to much of a problem, the Kingdom of Bavaria was considered part of the old Empire. By becoming Prince you will only have a prestigous title in the Empire, and if you want send a representative to our capital to vote in our Senate.

Nuevo Reino de Leon government is strange at best, we have a tricameral chamber similar to that of the Holy Roman Empire. We are willing to make you a great prince of the Empire and give you control of both Texas, but as part of the empire. You see other than the capital area most of the empire is pretty autonoums. The only thing the empire does as a cohesive unit is go to war, collect taxes, improve infastructure and trade. As a prince you will belong to the Council of Princes the middle house of the Empire's Senate. Your position will be ranked above all others except of course for the Patriarch, 7 Prince-Electors (mostly cerimonial except when chosing the emperor), and church officials. Is this acceptable, to have you as Prince of the Texas Territories. Also any claims made outside of our territory will not be considered part of the empire, only under you.

Two squadrons, each containg two ships and carrying 1000 troops with each squadron have landed in their own destinations, one in Kuwait, and another in Singapore. Both are now claimed as part of Nuevo Leon. Though Kuwait is said to be fully "pacified", rumors aboud about "insurgent" activity in Singapore.

Imperial Foriegn Ministry
Territorial Claims
The Imperial Foriegn Ministry on orders of His Apostolic Majesty announces Nuevo Leon's claims to Northern Mexico, New Mexico, and Texas. This is based on the fact that most of eastern Mexico and parts of Southern Texas are already under the Empires rule. We also formally recognize Tahoe, and Pravus's claims.
In a special message Nuevo Leon wishes to extend a hand of friendship to these two nations, and especially work on foriegn agreements with Tahoe. Just as in real life even though many European and South American nations claim Antartica and have territorial disputes nations can still remain friendly especially when they occupy the same continent.

What do you mean proof of just intentions? Apart from our support of Christians in the area and tolerance of other groups and religons what do you need? Perhaps you would want us to send aid to a African country in need? We are willing and able to send aid to nations in the region, as long as someone asks for the right reasons. Also our current claims include Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia. We hope to in the future make them economic powers and secure regions.

As the New Carthage Empire has collapsed Nuevo Leon claims both Algeria and Tunisia and with over 1000 men and 100 tanks returning from Ethiopia we will now back up our claims.

I will agree to withdraw all claims and troops from East Africa including Dijibourti if the Christians primarily the Eastern Orthodox Church in Ethiopia are guaranteed their human liberties and security.

On the contrary, I myself participated, in Real Life, in an experiment in which I was on board a specially assembled "boat" that was only about two hundred feet long in which you could walk but over eight stories high. We surveyed an area while pulled by tugboats. It had special fittings in the bottom making it weigh accorinding to the expert over 2200 tons. I am not how much a real boat weighs but we "sailed" around with no problems. As for people crossing the river, I doubt it as last year there was a incident in which a man swiming was attacked by a aligator that had been released from a private zoo.

I am sorry I forgot that in many countries the Rio Bravo goes by the name the Rio Grande. It is the dividing border river between the USA and Mexico.

I had the intentions of attacking Libya, but after the rescue of so many prisoners it would seem to be to late. I was especially satisfied after the Bishops of the area were evacuated that you had won in that region. I do not mind sending soldiers to other nations as foriegn aid if they need them however. To those that say I have no major river on the contrary, my nation has the Rio Bravo, a river of sufficent size and dept to carry a few destroyers downstream to Africa.

I regret this unforutunate position that your government has taken. I have pledged to help the people of the region, have given generous concesions to other countries, and taken a stand against terrorist states. I hope that in the future your perspectives will change. For now we retain our claims.

My intentions in Africa were yes to build a empire but I also had the best intentions of the people in the region in mind. If the lack of a larger military force is what you want, I can tell you that by weeks end I can build a airforce dwarfing the current one I have and expand the number of troops. I myself also view Belgium's disagreement with my expansion as alarming. As a fellow monarchy and Catholic country I must say I was shocked by his objection. For now I promise not to expand further in Africa.

Consolidation of Power
The Eastern Orthodox Patriarch of Ethiopia spoke today in Nuevo Leon's Senate speaking about how he hopes for future partnership with the Empire. The Patriarch later met privately with Felipe III who promised funds to rebuild the older decaying Orthodox Cathedrals.
His Apostolic Majesty speaks to the Senate speaking of the so called Large Leader. "We have been patient in the past," His Majesty said, "but now we are threatened by him saying that he would call for a rising of all of Africa against us. Hence forth I declare him and his rouge stronghold a terrorist state." The Patriarch later moved to say that they would respect South Africa's borders as they are recognized by Botha's government but will increase security in the new colonies.

Landings
The Atlantic Squadron of Nuevo Leon carring 1000 men and 50 tanks makes landfall in Mombasa, Kenya. Within hours the country had fallen at the meer sight of the African Legion's West Century.

We have had no military forces attacked by any country since we landed in Kuwait. We also had not seen your previous post that had told us to leave the country. The only reason I am leaving Kuwait is out of respect for the Kingdom of Babylon. I belived that they did not have the forces necessary to kick us out, this was to be done out of courtesy. I was leaving before you were even involved. In the mean time I hope you are happy to know that I am leaving the country and over 20 percent of civilians have already packed up and are leaving Kuwait.
