    Nobody mentioned spy rings?

     

    Shame.

     

    Every alliance ran one. Most spy rings ceased around August 2006, with the reveal of The Coven, which led to alliances switching to using individual people/more compartmentalization.

    I was thinking the very same thing. Being a Spy was huge.  War Guides - If you stole an alliances strategy that was a major offense. Tied in with all the talk about NPO, there was a time all you had to say was "Ivan" and everyone knew who you meant, now they say "Who's Ivan?"  tut tut

    Wow, how do I follow that? Monkeydee, I'm sure that we can work all of that out. OBR has come a long way in the last few months and I've personally coined the phrase OBR 2.0. We have made multiple efforts to remind people that the alliance of today is different than the alliance of 3 years ago.

    I'm personlly pleased to be part of this and KGB...Thanks for introducing me to Magner's!

    Aside from all the hugs sent internally, I want to congratulate Sir Winslow on his accomplishment. You truly have put in hundreds of hours toward OBR 2.0 and I'm so very proud of you.

    Sir Neboe isn't retiring by any stretch...we have him busy globe trotting. There is no one else better suited than the good and kind Sir Neboe to take on this role. Congratulations to you both.

    People tend to stay with people that they like. I've been around for 19 months and have been in 2 alliances. First Legion, then Valhalla. When I felt a change taking place within Legion that didn't mirror my views, I went with fellow members & friends, who all shared the same vision, to the newly formed alliance of Valhalla. Many of us have all been together for nearly a year. It works for us. Does my alliance shape my views? No, our views shape the alliance.
