1. I remember the majority of the names. Some of the better ones - and the worse - were in ONOS which I helped found. EJ, Loren, AA, Messa, etc, etc I miss ya

I remember this. Does he still play as another Alias? (Anyone know or care)
I would be interested if he did. A few years back he approached me and king Arthur on irc and apologised profusely for manipulating screenshots and other bits.

IRON did choose the right MDP-lite ( ;) ) partner that held the same ideals as them. CSN were always amazing, espeically their leaders.

    Word up Moo Tang ;)

There's hardly anyone left to anarchy :P

It's not about anarchy, it's about targets for us and atm it's a target rich enviroment ;)

    As Vib quoted

"They've got us right where we want them. We can fire in any direction now!"

I'm enjoying my less than 100 mil war chest NPO opponent and less then 200 mil war chest NATO opponent. Good times in about 2 weeks if they can still play with me.

This is going to start up asap.

I don't care too much which colour the trade circle is going to be, though Vlad's grey team idea sounds sound. Majority will rule here. Being FAN, I prefer yellow (and there is no threat of sanction because you will be linked with me unless you go rogue, etc, etc).

First come, first pick - long term trade circle.

  4. As the long forgotten ex leader of ONOS, the proud observer of the SPAM wars, the initiator of the nuke buildup cold war btw ONOS-NOV-MDC, and the last remaining, lonely 'core ONOS' spirit of EJ-ObsidianSky-Danny-KA-Loren, I proudly bequeth this dusty maroon crown to RIA.

    Much deserved.

    Much respected.

    You are RIA.

Add some random colours and trinkets to the crown, Congratulations :)

  5. A polite announcement but a very stupid one from a military point of view. Feanor brought it up earlier and now Chief is highlighting the likely political fallout based on GATO's dominos.

Pick a side. If you're allies are on both sides, then you need to find out who you are politically speaking or you'll forever be a limp *beep*.

They'll put forth minimum effort on every side so they can commit to the one that ends up winning and still come out 'honorable'.

    +1

Also, Destroy everything - scorched Earth for both sides!

The mercy by which I stated, was their decision to not let the war escalate anyfurther beyond their own borders.
They started it. No really, they did. I seriously doubt you would have gotten a NOIR concensus. If elements within NOIR had aggressively acted in support of MFO's initial attack (the spying) the reprecussions would have been glowing from many coloured spheres.

For those that thought we attacked for the sake of attacking, you don't understand our train of thoughts. Yes, when we go to war we leap into the night, fangs out and hair on fire. Look at the senority of the MFO nation that spied. He's not ignorant and FAN inferred that attacking the individual or alliance would have probably resulted in the same outcome. The only difference would be time. So what did we do?

Well, we did leap into that unknown night, fangs out and hair on fire.
PS: The guy who said NOIR was doing nothing, I'd just like to say this all happened in under 24 hours, and some of us need to get sleep and work.
We're just that good.

Except that isn't how it happened.

A member acting on his own in a fit of stupidity spied on a FAN nation and destroyed some cash. FAN never raised the issue, FAN out and out attacked the whole alliance instead of FAN piling the offending nation while trying contact MFO to figure out if the rest of the alliance was involved.

What actually happened is completely different from your version of events.
You forgot two things AirMe - A senior member acting on his own, within an alliance . . . .

And also, it is not our prerogative to initiate diplomatic contact all the time.

Remember, we were attacked by terrorists.

Most of them would have been aimed at us, but what's CN without nukes? Why play if that is not your goal? There could have been far more nukes flying in both directions if so desired.
You accepted peace for two prime reasons:

    1. You are a laid back guy so you didn't really want war generally.

    and

    2. Your alliance was woefully unprepared for war in numerous categories. One category is your war chests - we would have bill locked one of your largest nations within 48 hrs and several others within the next few days.

The far, far majority of our nukes would not have been directed at you if other alliances had come in to support MFO spying away baby guns for FAN's little tot's.

MFO are fun (at least Josh who we interacted with).

But MFO were not mericiful in this case. They simply made a smart move post war.

  9. We reacted appropriately for the message we wanted to send. Diplomacy comes in many forms. FAN is (re)teaching BoB a new form of communication when dealing with us.

Every spy sent underground to the enemies' TOYS R US store, every bomber and fighter escort zooming overheard to open the roofs of gun toy factories, and every FAN soldier and tank blitzing the enemies' toy stores and factories supply depots are 'talking'. Unfortunately for a few, you don't understand what they are saying with their bullets and rifles. So let us use words again:

    'Don't infringe'

  10.
So FAN didn't bother with diplomacy at all.

(Remember, in a 13 person alliance, you don't have people checking screens all day to catch these things right away.)
You spy us, we roll you - I said it in another thread a couple days ago. You're not aware of our culture - "Don't infringe"

    The wolves are waiting.
