  1. I've been in this alliance for nearly five years now. That probably says something about both the alliance and myself, but let's just assume that I'm not totally insane and utterly deranged and that this alliance clearly has some merit that keeps me glued to it like a fly on flypaper. Or a fly on a light bulb. Seriously, have you ever checked to see how much dead insect life is just lying on your light bulbs? It's like a disturbing bug graveyard right in your kitchen. Ever see the movie "Sunshine?" My guess is that the flies and what not experience the exact same horrifying-but-mesmerizing death that most of the people in that movie do as they experience the light of the sun from virtually arm's length. Seemed pretty cool in the movie, so I guess that's why the flies do it. Suppose those flies really know what's going on.

  2. Yeah, you win easily. Our flag vote only had four candidates, I think. The original shrunk down to the smaller size necessary for it to be placed in the game which looked dark and had harsh edges, and three member-submitted designs. It didn't even take twenty-four hours for people to claim the vote a sham and demand a revote (Namely because our Da DreadLord here decided to revise his flag during the vote, and people who voted against it now wanted to vote for it. Not that it mattered since he won the vote regardless.). Rather harsh criticism of the flags continued for a couple days until I decided I liked Da DreadLord's revised revision of our original flag (He smoothed out the harsh edges and lightened it up, as you can see in the game now) and submitted that. As I figured, once the flag was in the game, nobody gave a care about the silly flag debate. They were just happy the flag was there.

But yeah, fifty different versions in voting? That would be a nightmare to preside over, and it would be a terrible kick to the shins for the original flag to win out handily. That kind of makes all the effort wasted. You win hands down, and I would fear for the sanity of anyone who claims they beat you.

  3. Well, considering our decision process was you, another guy, and myself saying, "Yeah, that looks good," and having me submit it, I can safely say that the Order of the Paradox is having a rougher time than we did.

Now, the flag is an entirely different subject altogether. Ugh.

  4. As is obvious, this isn't "ground breaking news," but it is necessary to reiterate. We can't continue any deals with nations in alliances that are at war until peace is declared (When we'll gladly start dealing again). For now, though, I can only echo what Chancellor rabidman said and wish everybody the best.

  5. Best of luck to you Kronos fellows (The more the merrier, after all). Starting off on firm ground from what I can tell, plus you guys have Tryptamine. He's not known for joining lame and floundering alliances, that's for certain. Of course, I speak purely out of unquenchable bias and tireless longing (What better way to speak of a man?).
