Seems odd that a 120 nation alliance would have to make this announcement. Whoever tech raids an alliance of that size has some serious issues.
Well we see it happen, not often but it happens. And even from nations who are in an other alliance.

An increase of everyones population for a day doesn't really make any difference as everyone is effected equally. I totaly agree that nations that have survived for 2 years should get a bonus however.

Yes and No, I could be affecting everybody equaly but only if everybody collect taxen on that date.

Well, it's posible but not easy:
- design a flag
- start an alliance
- get your alliance sanctioned (<- this is the hard part)

I have just received my second event and this one is negative also so I now have -3 happiness and %-5 income....I hate them at this moment...

No thats not what I said. I said when you buy more of something such as Land/infra/tech, the price of it goes up. Thats what I said. The amount of infra and land have nothing to do with tech.
In that case my original question still stands. I Have 5.00 tech at this moment and according to the wiki and MrFixitOnline the price should met $9500 but it's $11875.

So the price of tech is not only depending on the amount of tech you have but also how much infra and land you buy?
It could be true because I have bought some land/infra after I reached tech 5.

At this moment I have a tech level of 5.00 (and gold as a resource).
If i read the wiki
Tech starts out at $10K per level (this is unless you have gold as one of your resources, then its $9.5k), but after 5 tech the price increases per level.or if I use the tech-calculator? the price should be $9500.00 but I have to pay $11,875.00 per level.

Well...that didn't help. One says I should do and one says is shouldn't do it, both with reasonable arguments. Has somebody a calculation that helps me further.

My nation is now 24 day's old, is it worth to wait 6 days with collecting taxes and get it on the 30th day (birthday celebration) because of the +happiness?
