Congrats to our friends
-
Very well put KingZog.
To Mhawk and TPF, I have nothing but admiration for the dedication that you have shown to your allies. You have proven yourselves as true allies good to your word.
I will not fault you for the dedication that you have shown, but I do question at this point what you feel that you are accomplishing this far into the war. I do not mean this as an insult, so please do not take it as such. Those who wish to attack NPO, will attack the NPO. I truly believe that you are simply being beat at this point without really taking any substantial pressure from your ally. I have seen you fight, I have seen your numbers drop and have seen the courage you have shown, there is a time however to realize that you are simply not effective any longer except to grind yourselves further to dust. You have fought and you have fought well at incredible odds and for what it is worth I praise you for that strength which few others have.
I know a suggestion to you to surrender at this point would be a fruitless effort, so I will not do so. Instead, I do hope that the New Pacific Order will encourage you to step away and take your wounded from the field and let them heal and bury your dead. TPF, you have suffered far too much.
Das Girl bows her head and recognizes a moment of silence for those who have lost their lives in this war.
I thank you for your kind word, but this is just something we must do. It would be a bitter peace if all of our friends did not share in it.

Good luck in your new home guys, you'll be missed!

Please list what we've done. For every unwarranted action that Sparta has committed in belligerence against another alliance/player since...let's say the NoCB War (not counting this incident, since it is an ongoing affair)...you get 50 tech.
I am not sure why you're using the "NoCB War" here, you guys were some of the first in on our side...
Regardless of whether people like or agree with our beliefs and friends we actually have stood and fought for them here, as opposed to scurrying around the treaty web when the road starts to look rough.
You might not be a belligerent, but that does not make you honorable by any means. I'd much rather be an alliance that passionately fights for their friends and ideals and sometimes be in the wrong, than an alliance that just looks out for it's NS.
-
I'm not quite sure a character battle between TPF and Sparta is one you can win GLU.
I'd take my chances on that any day of the week.
-
Actually, this is what happens when an alliance has principles and tries to live by them. You guys should try and find some, they're not all that bad.
Are you saying your principles are to sanction small nations whenever they engage in war with you?
I have to ask, what exactly are your principles? The only thing I notice consistently from you guys is feigned outrage.
-
To the rest of you, get over yourselves. NPO has been out of power for a month and you're all ready grabbing at straws to find the next villain. Maybe you should look at yourselves before you continue to bash everyone else. If you're looking at us to become the next super-villain, then someone please declare on us and knock us the hell out of first place, because it simply is not going to happen. We have the same principles we've always had, if you don't like them, don't attack our nations. It's that simple.
Yes, you've only been on top for a month (give or take) and you've already managed the turn a minor incident into a PR nightmare. Kudos.
I don't think anyone expects Sparta to become the next "super-villain" since that requires a certain panache and a good amount of resolve...
-
That is always the worst. Good luck in recovering your forums soon.
-
Thanks to the well wishers, and even to the party poopers! I mean what would a TPF thread be without someone crying about what big meanies we are?
Here's to many more years!
-
Happy Birthday Tempest!
-
Congrats to the winners!
-
Honestly, I do not believe what was requested was really out of line and the issue has been resolved. Arguing about it now seems moot.
-
Good luck to Rakari in her future endeavors.

Did you honestly read his post? He said we have slots open for lower NS nations. You literally just reinforced his point.
Then how would his last point make any sense?
GGA re-entering would definitely make that much worse. -
You missed the point that GGA is full of low NS nations now, much like NPO. NPO's peace moders are in the higher NS ranges for the most part and the higher NS members of NPO-front Karma alliances are twittling their thumbs now, generally. We still have slots open on hitting the NPO little guys and GGA re-entering would definitely make that much worse.
See that is funny I seem to find a whole lot of active sub-20k NS Sparta nations without a single current war.

Seeing as how NPO is not willing to consider the pre-terms given to them, which are necessary to achieve any actual terms, hence "pre-terms, any further nations joining, or re-joining, the fray and taking attackers from their front to another would be welcomed. Especially since that increases the chances of their own nations being able to slip into peace mode.
Add desperation into the mix and you get one spicy meat-a-ball!
That might make sense if Karama was close to filling all it's targets, however the very terms you mentioned prove that is not the case and that you all would be happy to have more nations to declare on.

I'm not painting a picture. I'm looking at a Jackson Pollock and interpreting in the way it is clearest to me. You made it seem like I'm defying all reason and trying to twist my opinion into something irrational by making it sound as if I somehow think NPO is incapable of not making mistakes. I'm sure they've done some things right in the past, but they do make quite a few mistakes. It seems clear to me that you're simply trying to latch onto a perceived opportunity to blindly defend your friend, and just aren't all that good at actually pulling it off without being transparent. What history of behaviour do you have of me? My consistently thinking that NPO was at fault for this throughout these two threads? Then your history of behaviour is consistently thinking that NPO wasn't at fault for this throughout these two threads. What does that have to do with anything, though?
I'm not trying to join any conspiracy that NPO = NSO (I mean look at Sileath o_O and the fact that P =/= S), but you seem to take any accusation of you, personally, defending NPO as such.
George, lets face it, the ink wasn't even dry on your pull out of Q before you took to your anti-NPO pundit roll with gusto. As long as you have a fig leaf as cover for your rhetoric it's clear you are going to continue to deny all other evidence, no matter how weighty. So don't get mad when someone calls you on it.
-
The second choice assumes NPO is not in desperation mode and isn't making terrible decisions, especially as of late. Can you agree with that also?
Just saying, the second one isn't as clear cut as you would like it to be.
No one could think having GGA back involved, as a term breaker, would have any benefit to the alliances still fighting.
-
Just look at the motives here to see who is lying:
GGA: Throw NPO under the bus, get good PR, show their new independence, and put a stop to the latest GGA coup.
NPO: Get GGA back in the war because they are awesome fighters and the war will totally change if they come back in.
-
Glad you were able to make it back Neo!

Halfinger isn't TPF.
As for the point in case, I believe an amicable solution is being settled as we speak. If it already hasn't. I really don't see why people are trying to paint this as a digusting act on behalf of Karma/PC/whoever. Really, stop grasping for straws, guys.
I don't see most of us trying to paint this as an act by Karma.

My post. Let me explain (you) it.
My question was if they thought they should be dicks just because no terms told them otherwise, i.e. be dicks because they can or if they were actually angry at the winning side and if so, why.
Because I feel it's a spit in the face to be trolled by the people we gave white peace to. Not saying that they're not allowed to though, just wondering why.
BAPS has always been pretty opinionated and felt free to express those opinions. I am sure if the war had somehow turned out differently, some alliances on the Karama side would have continued to express their opinions as well.
-
My post. Let me show you it.
Regardless of that short statement you seem to be saying that because they took terms they shouldn't be saying things you don't like, so I stand by what I said.
-
I don't see anything in the terms that says BAPS members will only express opinions Karma likes...

I don't think we've claimed to have "seen the light" during this war, just said that most of the things people drag out to show that we are "monsters" are from a long time ago. I know this has been beat into the ground already, but seriously Tyga, what "awful things" have we done since mhawk took over almost a year ago?
