I think people of a certain bad place may miss me if I ever leave, but I doubt others will nor will I care if they do.
The two members whom I definitely miss that I knew personally were:

Mr. Njada
Both of these guys were my good friends in ANGIL and allowed me to really fall in love with this game. I remember getting 100,000 from sop and thinking I'd be in the top ranks in no time. Njada was an amazing recruiter and the first person I ever recruited into an alliance. I really hope these two are doing excellent in their real lives.

Allow me to clarify my statement then . What I intended to infer was that with few exceptions most replies to threads by NPO members in particular seem very scripted . They tend to lack substance , are repetitive , and often sidestep any facts brought to light that may not have been forseen until an appropriate insult or dismissal can be crafted . IMO it is very cult like and disturbing .
Actually most threads nowadays end up pretty scripted. Any NPO, Vox, FAN, or Slayer can pop up into a thread and no matter what they say, they will be argued with by the "opposing side". If NPO says something, Vox is guaranteed to show up. If FAN or Vox says something, NPO is bound to show up. If slayer says something, Vox, FAN, former NoV and NoR members will all show up. To say that the NPO's posts lack substance and not include other alliances is a joke. Most alliance members hold the same view, to see most agreeing on certain subjects or points shouldn't surprise anyone on these forums.

I'm actually glad the discussion came up. I have been around since before Great War II, but the propaganda from both sides has largely muddled the events of Great Patriotic War. In fact, for those who were not around at that time the only things mentioned about the war are that NPO considered it a stalemate while the members who were part of the coaLUEtion consider it a victory. What is hardly ever mentioned are many of the details surrounding the actual war.
The Tygaland being expelled vs. stepping down because of being in the hospital is just one of many examples. I know the majority of people were have joined CN after GPW assume he was expelled.
So, the OP did an excellent job of detailing the current events surrounding that time. I also enjoyed the lengthy 17 pages of discussions that entailed the sizes of the alliances back then, how the events happened, etc.
But, I will agree that I still see NPO as losing that war, and using it later as an important tool to motivate efforts into dominating this game. That's my opinion and anyone is free to disagree. I thank everyone who posted their knowledge of the history of CN from before my time, it is always very interesting to read.

Why are you pissed about it at all? That's what makes me think that perhaps you tried your hand at flirting with Dris before you found out he was actually a guy.

I remember trying to tell a member of TPF that Dristamia was a guy, but he wouldn't believe me. Not even when I showed him the pic of panfilo and all his family who play. Logs were quite funny, though it is a shame people get on Dristamia and panfilo about their spelling and grammar when they truly are not native English speakers.
I still don't see why magicninja is pressing the issue. It makes him look worse that he required a picture to be taken that says 'hi magicninja' to prove Dris was female. I'd go into how the whole OOC shouldn't matter and all that, but I know it'd fall on deaf ears.
I know your argument is about the fact he lied to you and all, but the way you reply magicninja, it almost seems like are just pissed Dris wasn't female and wouldn't post a little sign that says hi to you.

Let's see if I've got everything straight.
panfilo and his friends were members of Ragnarok, who made a mass exodus to join Camelot a while back for reasons that were pretty muddy to begin with. Camelot merges with Heroes of the Union to form Athens. panfilo and his friends leave Athens because they don't like the direction of where it is going and end up back at Ragnarok. Now, panfilo and his friends have made 1-UP and...1-UP is being hated on for basically leaving Athens before it was hit in the last Great War? I'm just confused why Ragnarok chose to leave these guys be and alliances like Athens, MK, TPF, and TDSM8 felt the need to stir things up.
Also, MK being irritated by someone impeding on their "theme" reminds me of when noWedge insulted and threatened Ragnarok in their announcement of existence thread for having a "viking theme". Seriously, themes are copied over and over in CN, from commies to vikings to super mario.
I know the Agora and Gremlin leaving the Continuum discussions threads were closed, but did we really need to make drama in this thread?

Correct me if I understand OPP wrong, but is it not an MDP? I believe all the alliances within OPP must come to the defense of one another.
Ragnablok is actually an OADP protectorate bloc, with Ragnarok still being obligated to defend all of the alliances. The protectorates themselves can choose whether or not to fight alongside the fellow signatories in the bloc.

In actuality, it was someone not in Ragnarok who pitched the idea of an ODP protectorate bloc to Hoo and even suggested the name of Ragnablok.

That would have been terrible if I had pointed you out as one of the awesome people at Ragnarok in the egotistical birthday thread I made for Hoo, and then you leave a couple hours later to create a new alliance. I mean, I figure you really did want to make this new alliance but realized in the end that it would have made me look silly.
It was an entertaining read my friend, look forward to more...epiphanies.

Fun Fact: Hoo doesn't actually get older, we just celebrate the day when people assumed he was born. In actuality, Hoo has been 33 for about 4,239 years (give or take a year or two).
In whatever case, Happy Birthday. As my gift for you, I order you to take the day off, do nothing you don't want to do, and have a good time. If your job gives you crap, tell them that I told you that you could take the day off. I'm sure it will fly. And if you need an actual name, my name is Barack Obama.....
Like he doesn't take every day off already. Seriously, only being on irc for 2 hours a day now is just pure laziness. I won't allow him to blame old age either...

Hoo, I thought the day you retired I'd have an incredibly lengthy post about how much you've done for this game and how much you would be missed. But I've never been a person good with words. I can only say it as simply as this:
You were my closest friend in this game, you were my mentor, and you were the greatest leader CN has ever seen. I would follow no one else but you.
