    Imagine being a giant retarded baby and arguing that this tech deal is an act of war but all the other tech deals aren't.

    I won't fault the man for defending his pals. I'm sure Bucovina is a great guy. I figured English wasn't his first language...given the fact he knows Bucovina exists :P we might have a lot in common. Back to the game, guys, it really is very plainly obvious that ODN made some veiled and some not so veiled threats to WTF, unprovoked might I add, just like this war. You came to them. can you honestly fault them for reacting the way they have? Try to see it from their perspective. All of this really shines poorly on ODN, and that's a bummer because some of us know better. Either put your money where your mouth is and make good on the threats and help your pals In DBDC on their aggressive war gone bad, or level with WTF and retract your words, and let the show move on to the next stop. ;)

    Most of these are from another generation with different values.

    I doubt that many will understand. Totally different realities.   <_<

    DS and DBDC gave us crap about that too

    Edit: some of our members have been doing tech deals with WTF months before the war even began

    I believe I mentioned somewhere before that not all "Tech deals" are what they seem.

    If you try to follow some of the money trails you'll find that there aren't any.

    No money ... just Tech.

    At this point in time, I'll accept nothing that doesn't come from WTF members.

    It would just cause more problems than it's worth.

    You're missing the point, I think. As far as I can tell, it's not about winning or losing to WTF. It's about maximizing the cost that DBDC (and especially Cuba) will pay for their attacks. In 49 days, Cuba went from 82.5k tech to 68.1k while constantly receiving 100 tech aid packages and stealing tech in GAs he can virtually never lose because of his land. Considering how large of a nation Cuba has and all of the mechanics help to ensure he will do more damage by a wide margin, WTF is succeeding in what I perceive to be their goal. Does that mean they're "winnning"? No, but I don't think I've seen anyone from WTF discuss winning.

    From what I've gathered, WTF indeed does not seem to care one way or another about winning or losing. At this point, it appears all they care about is causing as much damage to DBDC as they can, for as long as they can. It does not matter to them how badly they perform against individual nations such as Cuba, as impressive as his performance may be. In their eyes, and it seems to be the case to myself, DBDC has bit off more than they can chew (unless they get some help) and I don't think they thought things would go on like this. WTF's tenacity has certainly taken a lot of people by surprise.

    Everyone's always suggesting Sun Tzu's The Art of War as a resource.

    In this instance, if you want to know what's happening, I'd suggest another tome.

    But seriously, I think people are grasping at straws looking for drama where it is unlikely to appear.

    I hardly imagine either DBDC or WTF has any desire to be distracted dealing with us over a couple of tech deals.

    Speaking only for myself (as any good WTFer), I doubt that this will ever occur.

    Our enemies are ... well, our enemies. :D

    That includes their splinter groups, mercenaries and those that attack from another alliance and then change their AA.

    (that's ben happening quite a bit lately) Basically any and all attackers of the WTF.

    Runners to other AA's and those of our own, who bolted at the first sign of war, shall be dealt with later.

    Tech dealers supplying the enemy (and a few who aren't actually dealers) are a minor annoyance but

    I don't think that we're going to get all radical over it.

    CT's latest transgression happened at the same time as the war between DBDC and WTF.  If CT's actions are old news, why isn't the DBDC and WTF war old news as well?

    I don't believe that is the case. Depends on your definition of "same" I suppose.

    Use your pixels in whatever way you deem fit, you are your own AA and can make those decisions for yourself.  But all decisions have consequences.  DBDC's raids have consequences, as does dragging out a war that is all but won by the other side.  There comes a point when a defiant act against an agressor becomes a pathetic excuse to continue a conflict that you have been soundly defeated in.  While you could continue the fight for months, is that really what you want to do?  Lay low for 7 years, never fight a war, then fight a long multi month war?  Multi month wars are boring.  If you really want to make up for missing every war by a marathon war now, go for it, but that decision could have consequences too.

    "won by the other side", "soundly defeated" That's odd. I see an enemy that's whining and crying to their allies to be turned loose.

    I see an enemy using convoluted logic to defend their position. I see an enemy with little or no honor fleeing to safe havens.

     

    Sorry we bore you rasta man but I guess that's your problem.

    Nobody is disputing that WTF was attacked.  Nobody is wanting WTF to just roll over and die, I personally see what WTF is doing is pointless, they are trying to be martrs for a cause that doesn't need martrs.  They could have peace at the end of the round and rebuild to be a formidable force, instead they are suiciding their nations.  They are playing the short term game, blowing their whole load now instead of havign a rebuilding plan to get back on their feet and be a credible force in the future.

    No martyrs in WTF,  Suicide is not our endgame.

    It's an unfortunate hazard of the medium that some things must be left on the cutting room floor. 

    WTF's particular grievances and the course of action based on them are well reasoned, but would be difficult to discuss here. 

     

    At the same time, it's impossible to expect WTF to accommodate 500 diplos, so this will do for the vast majority (as Grub pointed out). 

    As one of the 1000 enforcers, I think it's wise for you to check it out now that the check has been written.
