Shangri-La are still around. And we still have an MDoAP with them (it's even on our wiki it's that old). Just thought it would be good and proper to make a public statement that its happening. Since even though LH is constantly posting about how great he is but doesn't see fit to post about the wars he declares.

Load up every single trashed 60 ton tank onto the back of a truck and haul it out just for scrap metal?

After many setbacks and such nonsense. ITS HAPPENED! our prototype walking ships have come out of testing and have become the main workhorse of our millitary!

The nation of Savoy is finnishing up some new R&D that comes to the world directly from cyberspace. Navel units that can walk on land!
Jaze Boatman (the newly appointed Amiral de France) has ordered the research of destroyer based upon the video game Supreme commander Forged Alliance's cybran tech 2 destroyers. When complete these boats will be able to walk on 6 legs and wander the nation of Savoy to defend its boarders from foreign invaders. Research is flying by at an alarmingly fast rate and they should be completed by the end of next week!

"We can agree to most of it but I would find it difficult to cede French speaking lands to an Italian State on top of granting them military access. As the successor state to Snow Haven we have considered ourselves to be predominantly French, and I don't believe it would go over well with those who have granted me support to return Savoy to a proper governance. I am glad you could come so quickly, you mentioned there would be terms to us returning to independence, I am curious as to what those entail. I have also been hearing reports that your news is reporting the Alpes-Maritimes is in a state of disrepair, how strange considering I was there only a week ago and their utlities were working fine.

House of Savoy
With the collapse of the nation of Snow Haven, many nations moved to intervene, but it seemed as though no one asked the people what they wanted. The House of Savoy had been put down by the government of Snow Haven, but found their time to rise again during the chaotic time that had followed, with two nations placing troops within what should be Savoy. With so many nations interested in holding their lands, the people were afraid they would quickly be annexed into Cisalpina, Alvonia, or even Northlands if they wanted, without their own military they were defenseless. It started as a small part of the population, but through word of mouth the message quickly spread, promising independence from their neighbors, just as they had before.
A speech would be made to the world, announcing their intention."Ladies and Gentlemen, Most, if not all of you may wonder who I am. My name is Humburt of the House of Savoy, and King of these here people that our neighbours wish to subjugate. I want to make it very clear that neither I, nor my people, the people of Savoy, want to be ruled by Italians or Germans. We were independent as Snow Haven. We want to remain independent, and we will fight for this goal, if need be.
Diplomacy remains the first and preferred option, as for everyone. After all, nobody believes in needless death and bloodshed being good things, especially within their own nation's borders.
I merely ask for a Cisalpine representative to discuss with me the future of Savoy, and hopefully permit us to become independent once more without any need for war.
