  1. At first tech deals allowed me to build a few things, now it has plateaued. There's no way to keep a decent level of tech and build infrastructure at the same time.  If your tech levels drop, so does your economy.

So what's the advantage? if by the end one can't buy schools etc, or really do much, at certain point, other than pay off the deal. It's like getting a bank loan.

  2. tech deals kill

offsite forums are a pain, even if they're active.

most alliances have no real shape, or theme. At least, coming from a newbs prospective.

I like text based games, but CN is a mess, everything is scattered.

    - - - -  - - - - - - - -  -  -

I suggest stream lining it and make it even easier for nations to grow, that way one can be active from the beginning.

[I know the suggestion won't magically turn a text based game into a world phenomenon, but at least it will be interesting for the months or year it is played and may even slightly boost the return population. Because those that stop playing can't jump back in without spending a ton of time just to get to the game play part of it]

anyway I'm going to stick around and see what happens

    Hello everyone :)

  3. I had to sign up to "the community" which gave me access to here, sign up for LSF and if I want to check out any other alliances it looks like I have to sign up their forums, as well. I'm new here, so maybe I'm making it more complicating than it actually is?

    Thanks for clarifying OWF XD

I'm on an old tablet, which makes it hard for me to keep up with IRC chat. XD

  4. Well be it LSF or UCR you are a treaty partner to me its a pleasure to have you on board :)

Glad to be on board :)

I would recommend the Death Remnants, but i am not sure if that is what you want. We honestly do not care, you can be communist or capitalist or socialist, etc. We like to be diverse. We are still small but are advancing, and would enjoy to have a NS member like you aboard. Wherever you go, good luck and i will hopefully see you around!

. Death Remnants is a sweet name :) But not into the accept all ideologies type regions.

Thanks and good luck to you too! See you around on the forums.
  5. LSF is cooler than the international in my humble opinion.

NSO also has a lot of leftists in it, but they aren't a left themed alliance.

I think you might be right :)

Join an alliance that is fun and full of awesome people, don't bother with the "ideology" of the alliance

The ideology is what makes it fun, for me.
  6. Just waiting for my app to go through in LSF comrades :)

Out of all the ones I've checked out, LSF seems to be the best fit.

It's interesting to learn about the culture here. In station nates the internationale is a militant leftist region mostly, with some RL activists etc. It runs through a consensus. Capitalists and fascists/Nazis, are our main targets. Where as here it seems that INT is a meritocracy, which is strange XD

I'm looking forward to making the fash very uncomfortable here :)

Things my nation needs right now, are iron, water, lumber and pigs (not the blue kind XD)

If there's any comrades out there that have these message my nation. I will only trade with anarchists, revolutionary governments, and communists. "Democracy is an exception as long as their war option is off."

Can't wait to be on the front with my LSF comrades :)

  7. I see :)

Leftist gameplay is kind of dead here, that sucks. Nevertheless, I'll stick around and see if things change.

In the meantime, hopefully, I can manage to agitate a war with nordreich. Maybe INT, UCR and LSF can manage to get together, this time; it might be a long shot, but worth trying anyway.

  8. If you want to look at it in black and white, that's essentially what happened. However, there was a lot of politics and the leader of INT at the time is long gone.I feel like LSF would suit a newer player better than Int would, although both probably aren't the greatest to get your start at.A "Usual Suspect" bloc member is just what it says, there is a treaty bloc called Plan B, or The Usual Suspects. http://cybernations.wikia.com/wiki/Plan_B NATO doesn't represent any solid political movement. They are in a certain area of the treaty web which will be irrelevant to you at this stage I'd think. They are a very friendly bunch, but rarely if ever play hard politics.

Yeah, it's never black and white. Is there some recorded history about this incident?

I'm into leftist game play and so far I've seen INT, LSF (which I'm waiting for approval) and UCR. Are there any others out there?

Thanks for the link :) I think I have a basic understanding :)
  9. I heard INT left their LSF comrades in the middle of a war with the fascists? If true, not sure I would want to join an alliance like that.

What's 'a usual suspect bloc member' a communist bloc member?

And what does NATO represent here?

  10. sorry casita, its the summers so peeps are in their holidays and what not.... I have inform zorro about the confirmation :)

Ah, okay :) I forgot that is is summer for everyone XD

I'm looking to trade. But I only want to trade with anarchists, revolutionary governments and communists. Is there a leftist trade forum or something?
  11. Hello CN :) I'm from NS. Not much of a RPr, more into 'leftist' gameplay. CN looks like a cool place, but it seems to be wicked complicated or at least compared to NS. At any rate, I'm interesting in getting involved here.
