I did not nuke before update which I could have, you are correct in the order that nukes were launched. If anybody doubts this just compare the time stamps from the nuclear statistics page and those who have logs from #FPI. Nobody even asked why I didnt nuke at the 24 hour mark.
Are you saying you...didn't nuke him first?

I would have to agree there. A nation to which surrender terms have been offered should be permitted to surrender under those terms, in my opinion, whether they were 'supposed' to be sent at that moment or not. Particularly when they were sent by a government official.
According to the news reports, MrBill has not been nuked. But waiting for him to decom his 17 nukes and then continuing to destroy his nation is not much better; in a vastly outnumbered situation such as this, conventional war is pretty much as destructive.
Also according to the news reports, FPI didn't launch the first nukes, either:
You're late, guy. First nuke was launched against Mum2005, I was on IRC as it happened, and pretty much saw the screen myself, as did most of the other people online in my alliance. Ish hit the fan and nukes started flying like crazy after that, but Four Horsemen launched the first nuke.
