  1. So, I accidentally clicked on a wonder deletion button (National Research Lab). I figured there would have been a confirmation or something before deleting it, but it just instantly disappeared. I realized that I was running noscript with javascript turned off, which is probably why I wasn't prompted.

My question is, is there any way to get it restored, and could there maybe be a confirmation screen before deleting wonders? Or barring that, if javascript is the only defense against accidental deletion, then perhaps loading the deletion buttons with javascript to ensure that it can't happen with javascript disabled?

  2. Why doesn't he release it on FF's main add-on page? Oh well.

If the CN interface changes, I need to be able to update the extension quickly. If you want something to be listed on AMO (Firefox's extension site), you are assigned a reviewer who has to review the changes you made. From what I've read, the turnaround time is 2-3 days at least. Not a big deal for most extensions, but CNx would essentially be unusable during that time. With FF3, the trend seems to be to try and push extension authors towards AMO, so in the long term it may end up there anyways.

  3. I wrote this extension. My PMs with the admin indicated only that given the functionality and features described, it would not violate the game rules.

However, posting links to third party tools is against the forum rules so I recommend removing it to avoid a warn.

I will say that it is completely passive from a CN perspective; it does not contact the CN server at any time. You can examine the unobfuscated source code by downloading the installer and unzipping it with something like Winzip, I only ask that if you make any improvements or fixes to it that email them back to me.

  4. As a Farker who fought against GGA I can say that Craig's posts not only don't take into account the fact that desperate GOONS were fighting most of GGA's top level nations, but more importantly ignore the spirit in which white peace was achieved between Superfriends and their opponents. Also, at the time Fark only had 6 nuclear warheads and was at a significant nuclear disadvantage, and yet GGA honorably refrained from launching at Fark even having had the justification of GOONS' nuclear volleys.

  5. My favorite opponent was OneWhoKnows of Crusadia, former Genmay.

Only person I wasn't able to anarchy. 'Course, he ended up joining STA afterwards... After he redeclared on me and GA'd a couple times to knock down my troop count so I could collect.

OWK, you rock'd my poor little nation.

I fought Crusadia back in... GW3? And I remember that name well because he was a heck of a tough nut to crack. I believe I did eventually anarchy him after coordinating 6 vs 1 attacks, but even anarchying seemed to have little discernible effect. If he joined STA then you've picked up a valuable asset.
