  1. For the record, I have dealt with Alexandros many times as the TTK ambassador to Sparta and in other games were we ran into each other.

I have always found him to be respectful and friendly and never had any issues with his behaviour.

I can't speak to what may have gone on behind closed doors in Sparta, but I have not once noticed any malicious behaviour during our conversations.

I wish nothing but the best for DEFCON 1.

    Good signing, onward and upwards.

I hope this doesn’t leave a bad taste in your mouth Maine and it shouldn’t. For what it’s worth, whether you liked TTKs governance or not, there are members who certainly preferred you in FA a lot more than Riker:

You misunderstood my statement. What I meant in the above log is I would've preferred Maine stayed on within TTK. I knew there was no chance of him remaining as MoFA as I had regular chats with him. Also, I never had any issues with Riker taking over the post and I think he's doing a fine job despite your personal opinion.

That's a very good way to make it sound like you actually do sanction it.

    That would be mistaken.

Understanding his reasons for war, and actually getting our Gov to sanction it are two completely different points.

My apologies if I confused you.

Maybe the screen settings were off on the monitor I was using, but looked more Maroon when selecting the color.

Although regardless you guys will see voting for me is a vote not wasted & want me to stay longer in the Senate if possible. I appreciate all the forced support.:D

    Fixed that for you.

We shall see if our votes are wasted or not...

One other factor to look at are treaty chains. I know my eyebrows were raised at some of the treaties signed in the last couple months. Some of the treaties seemed quite aggressive in nature, and several formerly disparate alliances were now linked, ranging from the CnG periphery, to AW/Sparta, to TTK, to RIA. All of these regions are hotbeds of anti-Polar or anti-NG feelings

    "now linked"?

TTK and RIA have been treaty partners since 2006
TTK and Sparta have been treaty partners since before 2010
TTK and NG have been on opposite sides in almost every single war

All new treaties since MD3 have been optional treaties (nothing aggressive about that)
Why exactly did your eyebrows raise, or is this just a very delayed response?

  6. Yeah we're pretty aware of how Oculus decisions are formed as well.

Oculus Leadership: - Let's squash (insert random alliance)
Oculus Membership - Do we have a reason?
Oculus Leadership: - Do we need one? We'll claim some obscure insult somewhere, no need to prove it. Nobody can stand up to us!

Oculus Membership - Right, to war!

  7. So let's recap.

Oculus goes after Maroon alliances in M3D because TTK and allies were "too stagnant" and deserved to die because we didn't make enough FA moves.

Post M3D, we make some FA optional treaties, now we're getting jumped for making FA moves (if anyone is to believe the OP here).

Now it's because a former member went rogue, but we're still liable. Makes sense.

Alright, let's do this again the multitude of Oculus users vs big bad 50 TTKers, you guys are sooooo cool!

  8. TTK is currently recruiting once again, join an honourable and respected alliance, big enough to offer guaranteed security, small enough that you're not just a number lost in the swarm of members.

This is truly a brotherhood, not just an alliance. :)
