  4. Soldiers appeared

    Last night some soldiers appeared after I had ensured that I had no troops or tanks so I could turtle. This resulted in 8 wars against me, which I lost due to having roughly 1000 troops and tanks. If im honest Im not sure whether this was a bug or hack, because its never happened to me before.

    My soldier count is now 0 after another nuke, so time will tell what will happen.

    You also have the case of whether the alliances believe TPF to be good enough freinds to help them, even if they believe that they are guilty of the charges. I'm not here to pass judgement on TPF, but I feel that if the alliances were close enough to form these pacts in the first place, then they should defend TPF regardless of blame.

    Just my two cents, and not at all indictive of my alliance ;)

    I agree it was badly handeled, but it is still not too late for talk, and yet the attackers (but possibly not the agressors) do not want to talk. Why plunge planet bob into war when a few talks would do just as much good?

    I am arguing that Athens and the such will not talk because they want a fight, which is all well and good. I just wish they would come out and say it instead of hiding behind waffle

    EDIT: Bob has already made that point above me.

    Exactly. It was a long time ago, and all Athens seems to be looking for is an excuse to go to war over the holiday season. This war could have broken out at any time, but instead they decide to forgo talk and jump straight into action over the holidays when they have nothing else to do. They bring in their allies, and then moan at TPF for not sitting there and taking it.

    It dosnt make much sense to me

    EDIT: Deathistan, I think people are calling you the attackers because you... attacked. Makes sense to me. You attacked withut talk, which does kinda make you the aggressor. Sorry.

    I agree with this. It was the whole entity of Karma that won. If TPF had the direct support of more alliances, ie they were not fighting different alliances, then they would likly have won. You cannot say that each side is only fighting a small part of the other, as it is the combined effect of lack of aid and military power overall which determines war.

    i posted this earlier, but it bears repeating......

    Here's a thought: you could leave the issue of how TPF's treaties will be honored between TPF and her treaty partners. The only people i see getting all bent out of shape about TPF's allies not honoring thier treaties are TPF's enemies.

    It is a good point. I think all they want is a good fight rather than to win, which is rather odd....
