Unfortunate but I can't say we didn't see it coming after the last war... this pretty much completes our change in allies since then.
For the record, SLCB is hilarious (I mean nothing negative by that) and all interactions I have had with you have been 100% class. One of the most appealing aspects of aligning with you, through the signing of The Coral Accords, was the fact that you didn't take yourselves too seriously. A fact that was much appreciated by The Brain and sufficiently lacking in a world of Bob. I have nothing negative to say about SLCB, best of luck.

I don't really see this thread going anywhere productive. I left my thoughts on the maroonity forums yesterday when I still had access. It was a good time while it lasted but all things must come to an end.

The truth is always better handled through private channels with the parties involved.
The Brain has the utmost respect for our friends at CSN. We're disappointed with their decision to cancel our treaty but they've supported us through our entire existence up to this point (not always easy, I know) and for that we are grateful.

I, for one, enjoy his company. I always know exactly where he stands. For all the threats of duplicity and underhandedness that get thrown at him, he's never been anything but forthright and honest. I like that about him. He also has no fear for himself, and only worries about the state of others that matter to him. What's infra to something like that?

I completely agree with Xiao.
Free can, on occasion, throw a curve ball at you but you always know where the ball is coming from... once the pieces are put together. More importantly than that, there's the "diplomatic" relationship that is built after being aligned with someone for 90% of your nation's existence. That is far more important than the infra that has been built up during any nation's existence.

The Brain has had some communication issues over the holidays, the OP was not approved by the CNS. Although we would have liked to have Freelancer back in the fold, the CNS completely agrees that this was not the proper way to accomplish this task.
Please consider this a retraction of the OP and feel free to continue roasting The Brain, I fully expect it and know that you will. I hope we can now disappear into obscurity, The Brain apologizes to all of our allies and to UPN for the unnecessary drama.
