    They had been giving us lots of advice and helping out those of us who couldn't get our own tech deals. They were like big brother from day one :awesome:

    Seriously though, I think we'll be fine. I hear theres still a good number of First Reich /b/ around here hidden away in different alliances.

    Honestly I was just ribbing you guys. And I wouldn't say I am crying, I was more just mildly annoyed by the whole situation. But hey, by folding into Athens, I got 3 tech deals the same day. That was pretty sweet. :lol1:

    Didn't say your terms were cruel, just I felt they were kind of humiliating. Admittedly, i could have handled the situation better.

    Its the whole being forced to generate a humorous short story at sword-point, you know? I have enough trouble with writers block under normal circumstances. That and I think its kind of humiliating, like being turned into their puppet :-/ dancing for their amusement.

    Dont have to ask Londo, I'll tell you the secret myself from having to be absorbed. Befriend small, tenuous alliances that nobody likes. Then when they get raided and don't know what to do, don't fight on their behalf, offer them to join you and fall in line.

    A few months ago I posted a deceleration of existence of the new /b/. Things were bumpy to say the least. Our alliance was dropping and gaining members at equal rates, and stayed around just below 20 nations. Then things smoothed out and aside from the occasional tech-raid on a member of the alliance by rogue, unaligned nations, it was business as usual; tech deals, trade circles, peace treaties.

    Well as of about two weeks ago, a number of GOONS alliance nations decided to start swarming and ganging up on most of /b/. We didn't have any official protectorate in place. I made some unsanctioned statements, and in the end to avoid being ground to dust, I set up a deal and folded all the members of my alliance into Athens, and we now all follow Londo.

    Just thought I would inform anyone interested who was not already aware.

    Suppose it is as good a time as any to say so. I have spoken with Il Impero and VE is holding a vote on how they want to procede. I am considering updating the charter of the First /b/ as our new charter, though I could use a hand on it... Less than 2 dozen nations in the Alliance, half of that being active, so we are holding meetings in our Embassy in Athens.

    I will suggest that to any active alliance member that actually listens to me. I am personally re-forming my nation. Furs & silvers coupled with an unaligned attacker, things weren't going well for my nation. Neutral is best. Keep to ourselves and only defend against attackers.
