Hardly a defeat, I'd say an armistice is a better term for this.

Thanks but I'm pretty sure our defeat was quite crushing... Congratulations PC! You've got some great guys in there and I had a lot of fun. Lesson Learned: Never bring CM's to a nuke fight!

I think that's why Gopher put them in a reserves section, but I could be wrong

  3. I sent something like this to an opponent of mine (edited it to refer to PC as a whole)

***I've been a trial customer of Poison Clan's famous Infra Reduction program (PCIRP) for the past few weeks and, with my most recent war, I've finally upgraded to the lite membership package. I heard that the benefits of actually being in the program are enormous and, from what experienced so far, the bite is much worse than the bark!.

When I heard that the famous PCIRP not only lowered your bills by the millions, but also helped you get rid of all that unnecessary infra, I couldn't believe my ears. When the trial came along and showed me that not only can you get rid of all your infra and bills, but gain casualties as well, I darn near fainted from joy. PC's patented nuke-a-day special didn't help in any way to keep me conscious either.

I would like to say that I look forward to the next dozen rounds of war and hope that I can contribute what little I can to PC's land and casualties count!***

I am under no illusion that we are winning against you, and haven't been since the war started. All I can say is an echo of some of the rarer sentiments: whatever happens, I get casualties... the one stat money can't buy! So I'll keep swinging, time will tell whether it's in vain or not, until the clock stops ticking and love every minute of it. To my allies complaining: just enjoy the war. To our detractors bringing up the past: we're definitely not the same as we were before (a broken shadow? it's possible... a new alliance? possible as well).

Btw, ridiculous amount of land! Congratulations OP!

    1m / 5 = 200k < 300k

    :)

I think he was asking if the person he quoted meant per day or not. The post he was responding to said that they've lost less than 300k NS and didn't clarify if it was per day or not.

Doomhouse has chosen to roll with it's allies to war. Friends > infra.

Hang on, one of your allies made this:

I see your allies in a completely different conflict than you're in right now. If there's a cb or a link that isn't speculative from this war to the next then I apologize in advance for my hasty comment. Otherwise, your statement doesn't contain much truth in it.

edit: Unless of course you meant MK, then it makes sense that MK rolls with its allies (Doomhouse). If so, then my bad :P

Uh, you do know that it says 123456789 right?
He obviously spent many painstaking hours buying the right amount of infra to obtain and maintain such a beautiful warchest! Sucks that the war screwed it up though :(

Also I really love the BalrogMario one, major props to whoever made it!

Given the fact that they entered against a MDoAP partner who was spied upon and has fought not only on their side but for them, I think we have the right to be a little miffed. Especially so when they entered for another MDoAP partner who has never fought for them and has directly engaged their treaty partners multiple times.

Mutual Defense is Mutual Defense no matter what, not Mutual Defense-but-only-if-you-have-shown-that-you-have-fought-for-us-before. I understand your anger at what may seem to you and yours as betrayal (and, it may indeed be in many perspectives) but I hope you understand that we have our obligations and this is us doing our best to stand by our word. If you say we entered against you (our MDoAP partner) through our declaration on PC (your MDoAP partner, then maybe you initiated against us (your MdoAP Partner) by declaring on Polaris (our MDoAP partner)... in some perspectives...

edit: Regardless, good luck and have fun to everyone on the field, especially our SF friends and all our allies (yes even VE!)

So let me get this straight.

Polar gets hit, thereby invoking the mutual defense clause with Rok.
Rok knows they are going in, must tell the rest of SF.
the rest of SF decides they don't want to support polar, so they declare based on a declaration which came AFTER the one on polar.
Shouldn't SF be bound to support RoK first and for-most. Seeing how most other treaties have non-chaining clause. (I don't know all the SF treaties, so this may be incorrect)

In my opinion. Good show Rok, bad show rest of SF.
The Aggression part of the SF treaty has to be activated by a 2/3 majority of the bloc for it to be mandatory. As far as I know this vote was not called for. Thus, our SF friends were not bound to roll with us (and vice versa). They supported their allies, we defended ours, so a good show all around I think!
