  1. Anarchy Inc. presents its First Hostile Takeover

    Today Anarchy Inc. has successfully concluded its first ever hostile takeover. By a series of bribes, threats, and general Anarchy they have taken over the BTA. As such the BTA will now be merging into Anarchy Inc.

    It has been a long and crazy ride from the founding of the BTA, to joining The League, to The Sphere, to running into the wall that was WUT at a full on sprint. Things were never easy for us but it was always a fun time. Thanks to everyone over the years for making BTA the place it was.
    Anarchy Inc. will protect the BTA for 60 days.
    The BTA has no treaties that will carry over.

    Theres still a few of us 06ers left. Though that number does seem to get smaller every day. It seems like more and more of my old friends either stop playing or get to a point where they are never on to talk to anymore. Really out of the group I used to work with daily there are very few left, and None that I talk to on a daily(or even weekly/monthly) basis anymore.

    Man the names being thrown around in this thread really take me back. I remember talking with VX from time to time back then. He was a great person to talk to when I got the chance. I never knew he re-rolled though.


    Looking back on it I think I can say that the blurring of the IC/OOC line is the worst thing to happen to bob. Before the lines were blurred bob was just more active and a place you wanted to be. Now.......now its something else..........

    I really miss some of those old timers to. I think I miss just chatting with them the most though. Those were good times to have a chat with people.

    Random hits it out of the park here. For as "bad" as NPO was they were IC the whole time. They were the best "bad guys" I have ever faced in CN or in any other realm I visit. They truly were the best of the best at what they did.
    I still want a piece of Philosopher to. I hate that guy(totally IC).

    As someone who was hunted by the NPO for some time I can say they kept it within the IC realm the entire time. I never re-rolled but I was hunted by them pretty efficiently when I look back at it.

  5. Turtle Tech Raid

    A week ago the alliance known as Mongols “tech raided” 3 BTA members. After contacting both the offending member and the government of Mongols it became clear that they were not going to declare peace as they “allow tech raiding”. After multiple attempts at diplomacy the alliance not only said that they would allow the raids to continue, but they said that any defense of our nations would be considered an act of war.

    The BTA will not abandon our nations.

    As such the BTA now recognizes a state of Tech Raiding with the alliance of Mongols.

    Now that this is over I will comment.

    Legion-It was fun fighting you. I am actually surprised at the level of fight the members that I attacked had. You get a +1 in my book for that one. You guys have made some improvements to shed the title of WAE. Keep it up.
    Sakura-It was fun fighting with you guys. We will have to do it again sometime.
    Tetris-Nice show guys. It was fun working with you guys and hopefully we can get to know each other a bit better now.
    Sith-It was nice to work with you all(except RV) and you were a pleasure to work with (except RV). Now comes a task harder for you than anything you have ever had to do before, getting RV to admit that you lost to Legion.

    Legion again-Because you just blue balled the hell out of MK/VE you get a good +50 in my books. Anyone who can blue ball them as well as you just did gets some serious props in my book.

    I seem to remember a time when an alliance $%&@ed up, they took responsibility for that $%&@ up and got rolled/paid a ton of reps and the world was happy that they took responsibility for their actions without dragging in people who dont need to be dragged in.

    Now when an alliance $%&@s up people dont just want that single alliance to take responsibility for their $%&@ up, they want every alliance who has a remote connection to them to also pay for a single $%&@ up.


    Its no wonder there are no good wars anymore.


    Good to see UPN take responsibility here for their actions without dragging in other people.
