Sometimes small alliances have friends with big sticks. Attacking an ally of NpO was a mistake.

I am outraged and shocked. Pissed Off Puerto Rican hereby considers itself in a state of war with whatever this alliance is. Unfortunately, we're real weaklings and wusses, so we'll just throw insults at you from afar. So yeah...fear us...
I love this guy. He is totally shameless.
Back on topic though, I've got to give Jack props for sticking to his guns. So far he has persevered through everyone's interrogation session.

Also, how would this apply to alliances under protection from others? If any outside force should be able to influence another alliance, it should be that alliance's protector. I don't mean in the sense that the protector should be able to control the protectee's morality, but shouldn't their influence be some factor?

At this point, I think I'd love some vogon poetry. I've been in an alliance in all the times I've played in CN (and then got bored). I'm wondering if there's a correlation going on with AA to boredom, maybe in a directly proportionate scale?
I could see how the alliance you choose directly affects how long you stay, but I don't think being in an alliance is worse than being a loner. After all, the alliance system is the most interesting part of CN.

A good leader is one who can recognize not only recognize potential, but is also able to put that potential into motion. For example, it is not enough for a leader to recognize that creating an alliance would benefit many nations, they also need the resolve to put that vision into action.
Another important component of an effective leader is the ability to admit when they are wrong. I think we can all agree that no matter how awesome a leader may be, at one point, they will screw up. If they project ignorance to their faults, it benefits no one.

You also have a rather detailed constitution, with many processes. We'll see how well that works out when you are faced with the need to quickly respond to a situation.

IDK that I agree this is noble. If I understand right, he is looking to sell his alliance members because he doesn't want to lead them anymore.
