    I can go and start shouting obscenities everywhere and declare nuclear war on people willynilly. Doesn't make it a good idea does it?

    Just because you can, doesn't mean you should, there are better methods to achieve ones aims.

    Depends what you wanted to achieve by it. If you want to get destroyed then yes, it is a pretty good way of going about it.

    iFOK on the other hand, wish to destabilize purplol, break up PEACE and start a war with purple, 'because they can', 'because they don't like the current purple alliances', whichever takes your fancy. The methods currently being used seem to be creating tension and drama fairly well, they obviously don't want to attack with no CB themselves, so it's all dancing until then. Or until they can get purple to attack them before they get a legitimate CB. Either way, there arn't all that many better methods to achieve the current aims I don't imagine. They're already seriously pissing people off, and have managed to earn a demolition of Invicta's Vice President, managed to obtain a senate seat twice I do believe, and generally make purplol bawww. I'd say they're doing pretty well and should probably give themselves a pat on the back for their efforts thus far.

    Purple Unity was born because of a common historical enemy, namely Valhalla under NoWedge rule. Originally it began as an underground organisation to address what was Valhalla's increasing domination of the sphere. Once NoWedge was removed the danger was removed, however folk felt insecure about it until Valhalla became a part, which they have been for a while now.

    However what started as a secret defensive bloc has evolved despite it being outdated now. It provides an odd equality where none is due as it's clear which purple alliances are worth their salt, and which aren't. IMHO it now holds those good alliances back, typically by the poorer alliances.

    If only senators were worth more. Something like 10 senators per colour sphere, and sphere's have 5 options of which senators can choose 1 of that give all nations on that colour some kind of bonus. With each 5 options giving a benefit that would be worth more to different nation types/sizes.

    Would make for senators actually being worth a lot to different alliances, and much more drama would ensue.

    Well your delusions are your own concern, I hope they serve you well.

    Out of interest, what's your take on the fact that sethb was appointed Emperor somewhere along the line during tito's apparent 5 month oppression of the charter? He was actually Emperor when elections should have been happening (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong, it seems to be a subject no one's willing to really talk about so I could easily be misinformed).

    I know how things went down because I was there, you know how things went down becuase of OWF posts with no factual basis behind their claims. Yet you think you are informed on this matter?

    Just wanted to say, the entire little escapade in the Schattenmann thread was IC. I wanted to stick up for Hell Scream because he's a friend and he's had my back whenever I needed him. I actually agree with you about VE and OV.

    You have only addressed my point about CZ but completely ignored that Polaris attacked one of VE's closest friends. You cannot expect to remain friends with someone if you attack their friends.

    So erm....you're calling us cowards because we....wanted to be independent? You sir, seem so much more intelligent than the rest of us, that you interpret independence as cowardice. You sir, get a gold star!

    If everyone sees through our "crap", why have alliances like iFOK, RoK and GOD haven't canceled their treaties with us? What if we "coup" them too! Obviously that's the case, why coup only 1 ally? We're couping all of our allies!

    Let us remember the timeline of the events.

    Polar, without negotiations, tells VE that they are attacking FIST. 90 minutes later, NpO attacks FIST.

    VE cancels on Polar.

    Ardus approaches Sponge about CZ while the treaty is still expiring. Sponge acts like !@#$%, threatens to destroy VE.

    Other alliances see the logs and cancel on Polar.

    Now. We joined the winning side? Really? NPO attacked OV, our closest ally, and we attacked them. We didn't pick sides, we honored our treaties.

    Do you have brain damage?

    I personally don't believe that one mistake was enough to entitle you to jump on the morality train with the rest of the alliances that had a legitimate grievance against Polaris. Shoot me.

    They're not all inactive alliances on the receiving end of seriously large sums of reparations. That good enough for you?

    Your timeline completely misrepresents what went down in the Ardus-Sponge meeting. Ardus did not 'approach' Sponge, he brought him into a channel of leaders seeking his destruction and confronted him about spying. Sponge asked how Ardus knew about their 'spying' (not spying) and Ardus refused to budge. Similar to the mhawk - Ordo Verde situation actually. But guess which side you guys took that time? The side with the larger NS? Nooo.. Really?

    You got that backwards, Zenergy (and tito technically, but thats splitting hairs, and doesn't really matter) tried the coup, we refused to go along with it.

    Us telling Tito we don't recognize his authority is not supporting a coup, it is indeed the opposite of such. Or would you like to imply that we as the government of our alliance can't decide who to pay attention to and who not to?

    I honestly don't know how you're still simply denying the mountain of evidence against you, in this very thread.

    Ohh please, we canceled on Polar because you attacked our MDoAP partner FIST 90 minutes after you gave us a warning.

    Hell, you had a public thread that gave everyone in Polar access to CZ's account on VE forums.

    !@#$%^&* it was access to VE forums. It was the VE resignation area, all ex-VE members could read it and it was barely more than a public area. You rode high on Polar's coat-tails for months until it became beneficial to drop them. Hell, you could have at least stayed neutral in the war but seeing as you weren't buddies with NpO anymore, it was necessary to be buddies with NPO. Hence, VE attacks MK. You then proceed to ride high on NPO's coat-tails until once again, it becomes beneficial to drop them, again joining the stronger side rather than staying neutral. Add to that the sheltering of Ephriam Grey's antics, etc.

    You now participate in a coup of Ordo Verde, and somehow have the nerve to deny any involvement whatsoever in the interference of a supposedly foreign entity. Schatt called !@#$%^&*, rightly so. Everyone sees through the crap.

    And don't sully Thorne's name while he's not here to personally put you in your place.
