    If your side respects the decision of rerolled nations to go after people because of incidents that occurred in their past life then they should respect the decision of alliances to go after the reroll too. Your side doesent, it tolerates one but not the other. Perhaps its merely because you are at war with TPF, it doesnt change the double standard. You cant have both and not expect to be criticised about it.

    It's not double standards, it's you being pedantic and bringing up another rather pointless bawwww point. I feel very strongly against the use, or perhaps I should say the misuse, of EZI. In response to your.. point? it's quite simple. People have feelings, people hold grudges. Whether he has taken advantage of a situation or not, I don't know but I can damn well say I'd do the same. Many people have been forced from the game by certain people, or 'bullied' in some way, it'd be almost pointless to constantly rogue attack those who have wronged you, but taking advantage of an opening to do real damage, that's just using your brain.

    I have no issue that I've pissed people off in the past, and I know sometimes you have to watch your back. Somebody I ordered to ZI late last year I let off early, (7k infra early too) with minimal reps. He's had a rather ambiguous threat in his bio ever since, and has made it clear that he'd nuke me at the first possible chance. I have no issue with that, it keeps me logging in every day. Where would the fun be if you have no enemies. It keeps the game ticking round.

    There is a name however that's not on that list, that a friend of mine will be reforming in June. He didn't want me to tell anyone though, so I'm not going to, however it is an alliance that I think many of the ex-members will leave their alliances to join.

    I'm 90% certain I know that alliance, and that person. I've missed him being active. :(

    It should be on a case by case basis, based on the history of each alliance and reasons for being involved in this war, although kept within reason. No extortion or bullying. Unless of course, that alliance has an exceptionally bad history when it comes to handing out - and on occasion adhering to on their part - surrender terms. Oh hai NPO.

    Let me be the first to say, this thread was a bad idea. My thought was to stimulate discussion and I instead subjected myself to the ire of everyone on this board.

    Ah well...Live and Learn, as they say.

    Maybe if you'd not claimed to favor either side, and then blatantly did you'd have stimulated a discussion. That and the fact you did favor one side over another would quite obviously result in one outcome.
