  1. Well, you are of course entitled to feel that way *shrug*

It's not as clear is you think it is, you see, the OP is written by someone who conspired against and stole from IAA, and what they say probably shouldn't be trusted. But since you know everything you'd know that, right? Also, I thought it was a stupid metaphor thaen and a stupid metaphor now.

Give it up dude I was pretty obviously being sarcastic in my first post and then just continued the argument cause I was bored. Yeeesh.

  2.

I don't really see how this has anything to do with MK or TDSM8, or their prices of peace.

If it's such an insult, you can quit Athens?

It's pretty clear if you'd read the OP! This paragraph in particular.

I ask you Planet Bob, is that something you want in a new era of this world? An alliance that fits in with the Hegemony? I think not. I call on those who are allied to IAA to rethink their friendships, especially you Athens and Greenland Republic. I'd also urge Vanguard, MK and former TDSM8 members to look at what Chimaera, the Emperor of IAA, has started in this new era. You have seen these kinds of reps before... all you need to do is look at your price for peace back during the War of the Coalition.
  3. Then you don't know Harry Truman. While he was no fan of Joe Stalin by that point, saving American lives by ending the war was his primary motivating factor. It should also be noted that had the nukes not persuaded the Japanese to surrender, plans were underway to conduct further nuclear bombardment in support of the invasion.

All Hail ChairmanHal, Knower of Harry Truman!

  4. So what if NPO puts a few of your nations in anarchy for a few days? You have hundreds more, if not thousands, who are just sitting there doing nothing. Is cycling your forces so difficult? Especially when you have an overabundance of them? I really hate to have to agree with the NPO guy, but he is right. Karma's showing in this war truly has been subpar, and is a textbook example of how not to coordinate a war. Karma may have won, but it was tactically out performed by the Hegemony. And they will rebuild, and Karma will crumble since you guys can't get along. Really, you guys have no idea what you're doing. I find it to be most laughable.

This is not your best work as far as rooting for the underdog goes, but humorous none the less in typical RV fashion. :rv:

Do you even know what you're talking about?

Clearly not. Though I might add that you are another fine example alongside Ephriam Grey of the brilliance that is Invicta. If only you two had gotten along...

  5. For any definition of 'that big', there is a slightly smaller size where everyone would stop. Right now there's no point going to 20k infra, so people stop at 15k – and accumulate warchest.

Exactly.. Accumulating a warchest shouldn't be that easy.

  6. 1) Karma sucks at staggering. Anyone who can't see this needs to look at the war records of NPO members, or hell, just the number of PM nations.

Staggering isn't as easy in a nuclear war where everyone is in anarchy. Sure, there were some mistakes but I laugh at Invicta pointing out pretty much anyone 'sucking' other than themselves. You guys really are Ephriam Grey's true home.

  7. Warchests are a symptom though – of not having any high end material to buy. I have a large warchest, growing all the time, because there's basically nothing that is worth me spending my money on, and I stack it up much faster than I can send aid offers.

Constantly adding more things to buy won't solve the problem. It needs to be hard to actually run a nation that big, it should take a little thought and time. This game needs some new negative variable that increases exponentially. The larger your nation the higher the chance that you'll be hit by a meteor, for instance, and meteors can destroy wonders if they're lucky, as well as whatever else. Just a random example.
