Preamble:
This Pact is designed to encourage good relations between The Smurf Village (henceforth referred to as TSV) and The Infinity Alliance (henceforth referred to as the TIA). Article I: Sovereignty
TSV and TIA acknowledge their respective sovereignty and independence of each other, and shall treat each other with the according respect.
Article II: Non-aggression in war

TSV and TIA agree that none of their members shall provide Foreign Aid to a nation or alliance who is at war with the members of TSV and TIA, or who are engaged in espionage against either alliance.

TSV and TIA agree that none of their members shall encourage, bribe, solicit, or badger another nation to attack the members of either alliance. This includes the use of multiple nations by one Real Life person.
Article V: Espionage
TSV and TIA agree to not seek sensitive information belonging to, or pertaining to, the alliances party to this pact, and agree that if any such information comes into their possession they shall not disclose this information, even within their own alliance forums or other relatively secure means of alliance communication. Each contracting party pledges to immediately pass on intelligence pertaining to potential threats to the security of the other contracting party.
Article VI: Safe harbor to enemies
TSV and TIA agree that none of their members shall harbor or hide the assets of enemies of the other alliance.
Article VII: Dispute resolution
In the case of an attack from one alliance member against a member of the other alliance, the attacked nation may defend itself, and the attacked alliance may provide the attacked nation with Foreign Aid. However, immediate diplomatic contact has to be established to attempt to solve this conflict in a peaceful manner. The attacker must pay full reparations and may not ask payment for his loss in the battles. Other nations from either alliance may not enter the conflict until 36 hours after the initial attack and only if no diplomatic resolution could be found.
Article VIII: Equally binding
TSV and TIA agree that this pact shall be binding upon themselves and all their constituent members both full and potential, current and future.
Article IX: Termination
Official notice must be given 24 hours in advance should either alliance desire to terminate this treaty. The dissolution of either alliance, or their merger into a third party, shall make this treaty automatically null and void and no notice need be given.

The Infinity Times, First Issue!
Hello everyone, the Infinity Alliance is sending out its first News Update!
The Infinity Elections:
Elections are over here at TIA, and everyone managed to keep their seats! It is probably because no one wanted to run against our awesome government. In case you didn't know, here they are:

Growth News:
In a short amount of time, TIA has managed to start its first TWO wonders. FA_Hayek and Zenith both opened Stock Markets giving their economies a major boost!
While TIA has a great recruiting program, many nations quickly become inactive. Currently we have 12 nations, a low for the past few months, but only 2 are considered inactive! Current reforms are going on to stop inactivity from occurring, but CN isn't for everyone. We have had one member start buying tech, and plan to have two more selling tech soon. I know we are small, but we are growing from the ground up, and let me tell you, it is a one of a kind experience! If this wasn't going in alliances, I would definitely suggest you join. But we won't poach.
Foreign Affairs News:
TIA's foreign affairs have really taken off in the past few weeks! We have opened new Embassies at 6 alliances, and renewed some older ones. We are considering signing GR's DoN, and we have a few alliances considering signing ours. Here is a current list of our official Foreign Affairs documents:

We are still selling tech at a high rate! Remember, The Infinity Alliance is focused on tech trades and getting you rich! If your alliance is looking to buy some tech, check us first! We are always on time! We also have one tech buyer, but his trade circle just screwed him over, so he might need some time before he can buy again.
University News:
We gave out our first degree last month! Ichabod (not to brag, but I am Ichabod) got his first major in Economics, with a minor in Military Action. The school is going strong, helping students learn how to effectively experience CyberNations.
I know it was short, but hopefully it was sweet. We hope to increase our news, but at least now you have an idea about what is going on at the business man's alliance. Good bye friends! God Bless!

I've read about technology trading a bit. That is the main goal of your guild? Do you sell to anyone in particular? Does it cost money to be a member of this technology selling association? I'm trying to see what makes it advantageous to be a member of Infinity as opposed to anywhere else. I know there are other alliances that encourage selling technology.
One of our main goals indeed is tech dealing. We sell to anyone who will buy, and you don't have to pay a penny to join us
We also have a school where you can learn how to rapidly increase your knowledge of how CN works and get some insider tips on how to effectively manage your nation and make a lot of money at the same time.

Regardless of what absurd names are generated to substitute our current name, we are still and will forever be The Infinity Alliance. We were in no way affiliated with the Infinity of old.

We recommend you to seek an Alliance which protects you first due to the threat of attackers. We also recommend you to drop the claim on the name as it can lead to unneccesary bloodshed if someone with more powers challenges the claim.

TIA Disbanding

I'm going to keep this short and sweet. The Infinity Alliance (TIA), as of July 1st, 2010, made it past its 1 year anniversary, which I suppose is somewhat admirable. However, we the folks at TIA feel it's time to go our separate ways. We've made lasting friendships along the way, and I have a feeling that we might even be remembered for a while, even if it's as "those cranky libertarians."
I myself have thoroughly enjoyed my stay in TIA, being a founder and longtime government official, but I'm going to be honest here, CN is boring the hell out of me, so I'm leaving altogether.
Well, that's about it.
