  1. My NS is 6400 - Shouldn't I be making more than 80k in profits a day??

Even if I tinified my military I'd only make 100k.

My gross income is respectable, I think...I'm collecting 440k a day. But then my bills are 357k! Improvements (13) + Infra (1900) is 336k, so it's not my military doing it.

    Nation Stats:

50 tech (finishing last tech deal)

    1900 infra

    $172 upkeep per infra

    13 Improvements: 5 Factories, 5 Banks, a Harbor, a Foreign Ministry, and a Stadium.

    13143 Citizens

    $119.83 Avg. Citizen Income

    $33.55 Taxes per Citizen

Edit: Also, my trades are 5BR with Steel, Beer, Construction, Asphalt, and Automobiles.

    My theories:

    1. It's because I only have 50 tech (to finish up my last tech deal).

    2. I bought Factories then Banks instead of Banks then Stadiums. If I'd done the latter, maybe I'd make more money even though I'd have less infra.

    3. The Global Radiation Level is making me have less citizens than I should, so my nation is really in great shape but the GRL is killing me.

    4. My trades are for cheap infra instead of income.

    Anyone else have any guesses??

  2. I'm willing to sell a $20 donation. The standard is 18mil, as far as I know.

I'm not really sure how this works, but I gather that the recipient sends me 3 mil six times and then I donate for the recipient. I'm not willing to donate first because there's no way to prove it was me who donated, and you could default on it easily.

If anyone's interested, or if anyone's got more information for me, please PM me in-game or post here.

  3. I'm currently involved in some tech dealing, and instead of waiting 20 days to spend my profits I was wondering if I could find the price of 50 tech (as I plan on purchasing tech up to 50 then going back down to zero) so that I could get my nation bigger faster. I would find out myself but I currently have 107 tech (I dumbly bought 100 at once instead of 50 and then another 50 once I'd sent the first 50).

If anyone knows this number, or is willing to calculate it, I would be much pleased. If anyone knows the price of tech at 0 tech and the rate at which tech goes up in price so I could calculate it myself I'd also be happy.

I've got gold which reduces the price of tech, but I want a little leeway in case the trade gets lost, and it would be easier to calculate without applying the reduction, so don't include it. Well, if you really want to, you can.

    Thanks in advance.

  4. EDIT: Slot opens on the 31st of May, contact me now for smooth dealings.

I can do either a normal money-first deal or a 50t-3mil-50t deal if you're not a trusting person.

Post here or contact me in-game at 1-800-GWONAM.

Don't just send money, I might think you're just a very kind-hearted person who wants to help me.

    I'll also go in for a 3x3.

  5. I don't know if anyone pointed this out already, but, uhm, do you remember what exactly you did/are doing to FAN? Keeping people in ZI seems very similar to concentration camps. Regardless of whether or not you understand fascism beyond the dictionary definition, the NPO seems to follow these principles more than other people.

  6. Really? Could you elaborate more, I'm interested. (Also, good to see you posting more, these boards had a distinct lack of Tolkien for too long).

Not to say anything about the NPO, but Rome's greatest achievement was its law. The Greeks, Arabs, and Chinese far surpassed them in science and philosophy. Roman law was their legacy, and the world might be better if Rome had fallen after the end of the republic. The Empire was serf-based, and therefore stagnant, had rampant unemployment, was fed by plunder, and was horribly corrupt, not to mention the general public's huge appetite for violence and slaughter. If the Greeks had stayed as they were, that would have been great, but the Romans? Definitely not. The Greeks had rudimentary steam engines, pistons, pulleys, and even animation - Stuff that wasn't seen for years after the Romans took over.
