  1. Greetings to all!

Some of you know me, and some of you do not. I, however, am not important today. I humbly bring to your attention the continuing rise of a once, and soon again, top alliance: The Legion. On this day, I speak for her, and bring you the words of her people: those proud to call themselves Legionnaires.

For those of you unfamiliar with our history, this January will mark four years of existence. We have shown this world the peak of an alliance's capabilities, having well over 1000 members and the top ranking on Planet Bob. We have shown our mettle and resolve; holding steady and surviving through some of the darkest turns apparent in this cyberverse. We have been beaten down by war, by politics, and even our own hand. But now our pride and resolve again pay off, and we show ourselves as the alliance we always wished to be. We, The Legion, will continue to demonstrate growth and undying loyalty to ourselves and our allies. We learn from one another, we help one another, and we look out for one another. Now, we have come through another barrier in our growth: The Legion has broken 6 million strength, with a present score of 25.32.

Do not mistake these words to be those of a tired alliance who has reached their final goal. If that were the case, we would be unable to make this statement now. We would be unable to bask in the warmth of the flames some of your are preparing to write. This does not hurt us. This simply strengthens our resolve. This announcement is a statement of pride and devotion in what is the start of a new era. The Legion is stronger, and more efficient than the alliance of our predecessors. We have dedicated ourselves to a belief that we will continue to rise, shedding the ashes of our past faults and missteps, until we once again soak in the warmth of a blazing sun, our eagle spread-winged in the vast and glorious sky that is stretched before us. Not now, though. We are not done yet. This is merely our new dawn.

Strength and Honor. Those two words are synonymous with the Legion of today. The Strength to stand with our friends, and the Honor to uphold the beliefs we feel necessary to enforce. Though our enemies hate us, that is not something we can change. So long as we stand for ourselves, and our allies, the Legion will always be infused with Strength and Honor.

    The Legion Endures.

    Ave Legio.

Speaking on behalf of The Legion

  2. Just got a message. We have an interested person that fits. An older nation, stable, that's looking to change to the purple sphere.

If we can hold on 2 or 3 more days, we're set for good. Thanks for all your patience. It's been rough on me too, having been in this thing since the beginning OH so long ago. (I've lost at least 15 mil from this thing falling through so many times)

  3. Passari, by all means then, hop on in here buddy, send out the trade invites as soon as you make the switch to purple. If that other guy makes his way on over, we're set. If not, well, rubber and lumber seem to be easier to attract than aluminum anyway, so we can still make use of it.

This makes for a happy Necro, boys and gals.

  4. Isaac, you're in. (huzzah, another Legionnaire :P ) geestje, I'm gonna go ahead and put you in. I figure, if we end up using you, it would be annoying to put you off, and if we don't, then no harm in a temp trade. If that's a problem, feel free to speak up, just an idea.

Also, ask your MoFA if they've got a problem in you shifting color for a trade circle. The main reason alliances share color is for trading and such, with another reason behind senate votes. If not, that's fine, but it can't hurt to inquire, right?

Both of you, go ahead and offer to the other two and each other. I'm already gonna offer to ya'll.

Thanks everyone. Now we just need aluminum and a wildcard. . . which is where we were last time when the other two fell out. >_<

How hard is it to find aluminum?

  5. Sorry for the delay. I've been working almost nonstop, I asked escable and cizzle to fill in for me. They were part of the original circle, so they get first dibs. My apologies to you, linkkjm.

swillmaster and ligolski, I appreciate your interest. I may very well take swillmaster or astephan, but I don't want to fill our second wildcard slot too quickly. Please, don't take it as a no, we might need you very much, but you're aware how circles work, I'm sure.

    Thank you very much, everyone.

    -bump- :-)

  6. Escable, thanks for the continued support. Of course you get call on the circle.

I've been working almost every waking minute, so if ya'll could handle new circle-age recruitment, it would be awesome. I'm barely at home enough to check my CN, much less be on for prolonged periods.

  7. Hello hello hello.

I am part of a trade circle, and two of our members have been deleted for inactivity. When completed, it provides the following bonus resources:

Asphalt - Lowers infrastructure upkeep cost -5%. Requires Construction, Oil, and Rubber.

Automobiles - Increases population happiness +3. Requires Asphalt and Steel.

Construction - Reduces infrastructure cost -5% and raises the aircraft limit +10. Requires Lumber, Iron, Marble, Aluminum, and a technology level greater than 5.

Microchips - Reduces technology cost -8%, increases population happiness +2. Requires Gold, Lead, Oil, and a technology level greater than 10. Lowers Frigate, Destroyer, Submarine and Aircraft Carrier navy vessel purchase and upkeep cost -10%.

Radiation Cleanup - Reduces nuclear anarchy effects by 1 day. Improves a nations environment by 1. Reduces global radiation for your nation by 50%. Requires Construction, Microchips, Steel, and a technology level greater than 15.

Scholars - Increases population income +$3.00. Requires a literacy rate greater than 90%, Lumber, and Lead.

Steel - Reduces infrastructure cost -2%. Lowers all navy vessel purchase cost -15%. Requires Coal and Iron.

    For this circle, we require

    cattle- filled

    marble-

    iron- Isaac Sumizone

    oil- escable

    rubber- Supreme Empress

    aluminum- passari

    lumber- Supreme Empress

    wildcard*- spices - escable

    wildcard*- fish - passari

And yes, this will provide numerous, stacked bonuses to almost all facets of economic growth and military forces, with specific emphasis on reduced infra cost and upkeep, and increased population happiness, size, and income.
