The only reason I am aware of, for our current conflict with RE, is the defence TBW. I am unaware of any personal vendettas that may have since developed.

I'm sorry, a fair war? Statistically speaking, TBW had zero chance to defeat RE. This is not a reflection on TBW as an Alliance, just a simple examination of numbers. It would be statistically impossible for TBW to defeat RE. A fair war indeed. -

I'm pretty certain no nukes are going to be used. This seemed to be the general consensus on the forums when this fact was raised. Would be rather impolite to nuke someone who can't nuke back anyways.
