  8. Federation of Buccaneers ANNOUNCEMENT with World Association of Nuclear Genocide

    This is a World Association of Nuclear Genocide and th' Federation of Buccaneers Announcement

    It is with much honor I be announcing that th' great alliance, th' Worldwide Association of Nuclear Genocide (WANG) is merging into th' Federation of Buccaneers (FoB).

    That be right; FoB is taking WANG, WANG is coming int' FoB, WANG is filling FoB with its memberrrrs, FoB will embrace th' WANG, FoB will help th' WANG grow, and th' WANG will be in good hand and hook.

    World Association of Nuclear Genocide has been one of arrr longest runnin' allies. When th' Federation of Buccaneers started Th' Immortals and World Association of Nuclear Genocide were the only allies FoB had. After months of work t'gether, growing, and becoming closer friends WANG has decided to merge int' FoB. We be sad t' see th' alliance with one o' the greatest acronyms in the game leave, but are more then honored t' have them flying under a united banner with th' Federation of Buccaneers.

    We pledge t' help ever WANG member grow, prosper, pillage, plunder, and enjoy arrr BOOTY.

    Together, th' Federation of Buccaneers will surpass th' 1mil MARKER (which i will edit in once it happens). This be not just a celebration welcoming arrr brothers in arms. But a celebration of a milestone, completed together.

    So earlier today i was chatting with someone on irc and we began to talk about the cartoons we used to watch. I will refrain from listing them as that would date me (Tail spin, TMNT, original Power Rangers, Duck Tails...). One of the cartoons we began to talk about was Captain Planet. If you dont remember Captain Planet, or do not know who he is, this may not be the topic for you.

    Well... As we talked about this "super hero" (who arguably was a terrible hero, as his five teenage helpers with magic rings always had to come to his aid and save him). Regardless of his inability to perform daunting tasks, i began to think about Captain Planet in a different light.

    First allow us to read the opening song.

    Now, if you look back at all the things he did, the people he battled against... Entrepreneurs arguably. Every episode he would fight against a "BAD" guy. This guy was "BAD" because he did something that harmed the environment like run a power plant, mine, sewage plant, ect.

    On a side note, i would like to know what Captain Planet thinks about Google. I can only imagine the amount of energy Google uses. That energy comes from a plant, which in some way or another greatly harms the environment. Who invented the internet? Who ever did is a terrible person.

    Politics aside and back on Captain Planet. Mind you, in my child eyes he is/was a hero. until i started thinking... he was, like i said always fighting against mines, power plants, and sewage plants. He was destroying pubic utilities. In short Captain Planet was less like

    Th' Federation of Buccaneers and th' =Western Empire= be making this Optional Defense and Education Pact announcement. Tis be me honor of announcing dis coming together of a great alliance, and us (which be just an alliance, nothing great (Except rum (Rum is great .).).).

    Enough said.

    Whereas the alliances known as The Federation of Buccaneers and =Western Empire= wish to remain sovereign and independent alliances comprised of independent sovereign nations;

    Whereas both alliances recognize the benefits of inter-alliance cooperation;

    Whereas The Federation of Buccaneers and =Western Empire= are both committed to the survival, growth and prosperity of one another;

    Let the following be agreed upon:

    I. Henceforth, member nations of =Western Empire= shall NEVER attack members of the Federation of Buccaneers and member nations of the Federation of Buccaneers shall NEVER attack members of =Western Empire=.. Reparations, for illegal attacks, may be requested by the defender via his alliance leader. Such reparations, as well as any subsequent punishment for the infringing nation shall be discussed and agreed upon by the leaders of both alliances, with the ultimate aim to restore harmony between the two groups.

    II. When either signed alliance (being =Western Empire= or Federation of Buccaneers) is attacked by an outside nation and/or alliance, the other signed alliance has the option to help the defender(s) defeat the aggressor(s) using a reasonable amount of resources. This will be at the discretion of alliance leadership. Defense is strongly encouraged, but not required. Both alliances recognize that their ultimate duty is the survival of their own membership and hereby agree not to deem the other party negligent in their assisting duties if doing so would pose an imminent risk of destruction to their alliance. For these purposes, both parties agree that World wars and odds of six or more to one are to be considered overwhelming.

    III. Engagement in all significant inter alliance Wars shall be shared between leaders of each signed alliance before hostilities ensue. Failure to do so is cause for cancellation of this contract. Minor hostilities need not be reported between the alliance leaders. For these purposes, "significant" will be defined as "any incited hostilities where more than 25% of the respective alliances membership is involved." Important international information must be shared between the two alliance’s leaders; failure to forward vital information can result in the cancellation of this treaty.

    IV. Whereas aid is central to the growth of new and developing nations, both alliances recognize the need for each alliance to have control over there domestic affairs and as such Inter-alliance Aid shall be given only if both signatories agree. The primary source of aid for new and developing nations shall be from their own alliance. Demands for aid, from individual nations will be ignored and reported to both alliance leaders.

    V. This Optional Military Defense Pact is broken if any of the above clauses are not followed correctly and/or 7 days notice and an explanation as to why the agreement is to become void is submitted to the other alliance. Such notice shall give the other party ample time to present arguments as to why the cancellation should not take place, and the party seeking cancellation agrees to take their positions into consideration before the final decision for separation shall be made.

    VI. Whereas education is vital to alliance safety and productivity, both alliances are permitted and encouraged to work together to promote education and other training ventures.

    It is 100% Bobs fault, because he should have picked a target who was too weak to retaliate. Silly Bob... They dynamic of this game is unfortunately curb stomping. Thus, you must establish superiority over a far lesser nation. Next time, find yourself a nation who is already in anarchy with just a handful of soldiers, these are "prime targets." So, in short, search for "Failed States" and use their children as slaves once you pillage their booty.
